I freakin love this song. Though I dont think any of us can empathize with Jay about being too famous. I love how he uses the holy grail as a metaphor for being famous. In mythology it says that whoever obtains the holy grail will attain immortality. In a way he will be immortal, his name and image will live on forever as long as rap exists. Though he does say that with attaining the holy grail their is a double edge sword that just kills of enjoying being a celebrity. However he does seem to get over that problem quite quickly (before song ends).



Whats your interpretation?

Mine is that Justin Timberlake's awesome voice made the song ten times better

No clue about his album as I haven't listened to it.

As for the song, the lyrics are clever, JT's hook is catchy...typical (current) Jay-Z song. That's what makes it so popular.

It reminds me alot of Forever Young. Its just making this statement that many people dont see
