A kind of serious question

I discovered something miraculous today, I'm fully prepared to die, I'm not suicidal or anything, but I was drowning today (until my brother saved me) when my leg was stuck under a really big rock while I was swimming in a creek with my family. I swam under water because my younger brother dropped his goggles, and I really thought I was going to die, its a bit foolish or whatever but that's when I realized that it ends THAT easily,so onto the question.

What does it mean to not be afraid to die, like is there a word or...?

(I also had a dream where I was aware that I was going to die and the only thing I thought was that I loved my family)

Death is a reality of life. Being able to accept mortality and to even adopt a form of humor around it is not really unhealthy.

Now - I caution that it doesn't mean you should ever resign yourself to death. You should always try to survive.

The way I see it is that death is easy - it's the only entitlement in life. You can die at any given time, voluntarily, even. It's the option that's always open. Therefor - no matter how horrible the situation - it's always interesting to see how much longer you can avoid caching in on that entitlement.

I suppose it's odd that I sit there and reduce survival/death to a sort of logical process where I actually weigh choosing death against choosing life... but I've always held a very awkward perspective compared to others.

That's great, you'll soon see it'll make you even more fearless in almost every scenario. Doesn't mean be stupid though, you shouldn't be afraid of death at all which is good you learned, but respect it. Respect and fear are two different things.

Every born beings dies . if you are doing right things in life no need be afraid of death . if you are doing wrong things then you must be afraid of death start helping others in need and start doing right things in life . we can't say when death comes it can be now , today , tomorrow or many years from now .
