If it were merely a few cells, why the hell does she need to regenerate herself. A few cells is scratching yourself with a needle. The gashes Tsunade had is several millions of cells missing in each gash... Do you understand how many cells are in the body? A rough estimate of the average human is 100 trillion cells... So every gash she had on her body was missing several millions of cells... You underestimate how essential cells are and how small they are.

It was a "few cells" relative to how many she had. But that's beside my point. The point is she recovered from some gashes in her skin; that's not on the same level as recovering from fragments of her entire body.

Even if she lost a limb during that she can reconnect it... All you're doing is denying the fact that she survived something more physically demanding than the technique you suggest, with a lower level healing jutsu. U_U

Hiruzen turned branches much larger than Tsunade into chips. She wouldn't just be missing an arm, she would have all parts of her body scattered everywhere.

Again, Tsunade's actual durability isn't any better when she has her seal active, she just heals extremely fast. IE, if she was holding a grenade and it went off, the seal wouldn't save her from blowing up into bits. She gets turned into fragments.

They weren't larger than Hiruzen. The one that gripped Naruto around the waist was like 1/4 the size of Naruto.

Regardless of her durability, her body will be regenerated. It doesn't matter how much damage she takes, as long as her brain is intact(and heart in some situations), she can regenerate.

The branches here completely engulf Naruto, and we don't even see their full circumfrence. It's clear they are larger than him.

Look at how thick those branches are.

Hiruzen turned them to chips. Pieces. Entire branches. The durability of those branches exceeds Tsunade's.

Replace those branches with Tsunade. Her heart/brain won't be intact.

This single feat puts Hiruzen above Tsunade (as if he wasn't already). The speed and strength behind that single attack would more or less fodderize Tsunade. She wouldn't be dead, but would be a mess, and certainly wouldn't be in fighting condition.
