This is because of his speed, experience (and of fighting zoro), Im pretty sure he could counter and atleast resist zoro with his palms but this is depending on if Kuma stayed the same and if zoro doesn't have many tricks up his sleeve =D

i'm talking about kuma with no conscious post TS kuma ... plus zoro was weakened after fighting oz .. and he didn't use asura !!! and that being said he did land shishi sonson !!

So what is this trust based on?

Do we need to trust you because you know that Kuma stayed the same after the time skip ?

After protecting Sunny he could've went back to Vegapunk's lab and got upgraded, maybe he is even more dangerous without a mind, No one was really able to be a real threat to Kuma yet.

So what is this confidence based on that Zoro is able to take out one of the strongest Shichibukai ? Someone who has the ability to block and bounce back swords with his bare hands and send him across the ocean with one touch. I haven't seen Zoro fight someone strong without getting hit at least once.

Pre-TS has his conscience, whereas Post-TS doesn't. And in order to use Haki, one must have a conscience of their own (hence the "spirit" part), meaning theoretically speaking, Post-TS Kuma can't use Haki.

So yeah, there's a significant difference.

Shouldn't haki bypass DF? What makes anyone certain that Kuma can deflect attacks without a scratch on his palms?
