Question regarding trigun?

So I just finished reading the fist part of trigun, and I'm starting maximum. To be blunt, I'm kinda confused here from where to start .-.

So I went on manga here, and there are some chapters like Volume xx, chapters, 95 to 102 volum xx : the last bullet, and then volume one, chp 1 starts ._.


so basically what what are these chapters? Are they canon? Relevant?

Should I read them first or start from volume 1
