I apologize to anyone who enjoys Bee's raps. :T_T:I'm not very good at that sort of thing.
Nonetheless he will retain his humor and some phrases. Sorry for the long wait I was depressed over something, not the death in the family but something else. You guys are awesome. Please keep reading and replying, it really picks me up when I'm down.:flowers

Chapter fourteen: Mist
TSUNADE POV [AT THE HOKAGE BUILDING]
"You're early Gaara." Tsunade chastised as she led him, Kankuro, and Temari to their rooms.
"I had to ask you in person." He replied.
"Ask me what?"
Gaara stopped in his tracks, dead serious. She looked at him questioningly.
"Why did you call off the search parties?" He asked.
She put her hands on her hips. "You ask that like you're accusing me of something."
"Why, Tsunade?" Gaara asked. "The five of us agreed not to stop looking until we found him."
"Too many ninja have died scouring that mountain." Tsunade folded her arms across her chest. "We're wasting resources. We need to stop looking."
"Naruto is invaluable, dead or alive. Its too strange that you would suddenly decide to--."
"Enough!"
Tsunade and Gaara sent each other cross glares for five straight minutes until Tsunade sighed, making a facepalm and marching away.
"Your rooms are down the hall." She sung out, heading back to her office.
"You've found him already, haven't you?"
She kept walking. "No, we haven't Gaara."
"If you want to keep him hidden, I suggest you behave less nonchalant." He warned.
"Naruto WILL escape. The one thing that jinchuuriki hate almost as much as loneliness is imprisonment."
Tsunade froze, as if he had slapped her. A horrible guilt started to fill her, but she pushed it down and walked away, as if it were any other emotion.
BEE POV [LOST IN THE FOREST]
"It's too dark here!" Karui's hair flipped as she got to her feet, annoyed.
"Stay cool, Karui." Samui advised, watching the sky.
"We're trapped in a genjutsu." Omoi's eyes shifted right to left. "In the middle of a forest, just outside Konoha."
"Shut up!" Karui yelled.
"What if this is a trap?" He continued. "What if they're going to ambush us any minute? And they pull on my hair too much? And I go bald..."
Karui kneed him in the groin, and he fell to his knees.
"Ungh-gh-gh-gh!" He moaned.
"Stop being stupid and help us look for a way out of here!"
Bee made the sign the horns with both hands.
"This genjutsu is thick!" He sung. "How sick!"
"What do you think master?" Samui looked over her shoulder at him.
Bee stared at the fog. "This is the fourths jutsu."
"But he's dead." The three students said in unison.
"His sealing jutsu never fade. He sealed this genjutsu here, so it would never dissipate!"
"Why?" Karui asked.
"To protect his son from bro!" Bee smiled, remembering Naruto.
"Is that a house?" Omoi pointed, drawing everyone's attention.
With all the fog, they could only see the silhouette.
They approached with caution, but speed. For all they knew, it could have been a mirage, like a rainbow, or it could have been a trap.
Turns out it was just a house. Nothing fancy, but nice. The kind of dream home fit for the perfect family.
"So is this the fourths house?" Karui asked.
"Maybe!" Bee answered, walking in.
"Master, be more careful." Omoi advised. "There could be lunar traps. And you could spring one. And you'll die..."
Karui hit him as Samui stalked cooly in after Bee.
"This place is odd..." Samui stated a moment later, when they entered the living room and found layers of dust cake over everything. The walls, floor and roof included. "Does ANYONE live here?"
"Found him!" Bee pointed into the kitchen, getting his students' attention.
"Found who?" They asked in unison, poking their heads into the kitchen.
The three gasped.
There, asleep at the table, was a young man. A teenager, like themselves, asleep at the table his head resting on his arms, with dripping wet spiky blonde hair and a long red coat.
"No way..." Karui stepped back, looking guilty.
Bee grinned and walked right up to him.
"Master, be careful!" Samui shouted.
Omoi and Karui looked at her like she was crazy, and they were right. Naruto would never (try to) hurt Bee. But something was telling her this was a bad idea...
"Yo, wake up Naruto!" Bee nudged him to no avail.
"Omoi groped Sakura!" Karui yelled, earning disgusted looks from the others. She held her hands up. "What? That's, like, the only way to wake him up..."
"But he's still fast asleep." Samui pointed out.
"I know what to do." Bee produced a kunai, raising it high in the air, before bringing it swiftly down.
Naruto's eyes snapped open. His hand shot out, slipping the kunai out of Bee's hand, and going for his throat on the backswing.
He managed a tiny cut, that didn't even bleed. And only because Bee was shocked.
This wasn't Naruto's usual style.
A door was thrown open just as Naruto tried to run for it. He only took a half step forward before getting tackled by Hinata Hyuuga from behind.
"Calm down!" She warned.
"Get off me!" He bellowed, trying to get up.
"It's pointless! Everything's been sealed to keep you from leaving! You know that!" She reminded.
He grimaced, but slowly stopped struggling.
Bee's team watched in confusion.
"What's going on here?" Karui asked, breaking the silence.
Hinata and Naruto got to their feet, with Naruto glaring at Bee.
"Long time no see, small fool!" Bee held his hand out to him.
Naruto arched an eyebrow at it.
Bee's smile wavered, and disappeared.
"Naruto...?" He asked.
Hinata, who stood behind Naruto, slowly shook her head at Bee.
"How did all of you get past the guards?" Hinata asked.
"What guards?!" Karui snapped. "We've been in this stupid genjutsu for hours! And what the heck is he doing here?" She pointed at Naruto. "I thought he was still missing!"
Naruto lost all anger and/or suspicion, looking lost.
"Missing?" He questioned Hinata.
They all jumped at the kitchen timer.
"Dinners done!" Hinata piped.
She started to set the table. Not knowing what else to do, everyone took a seat. Naruto became lost in a homemade miso ramen with pork slices and fish cakes and rice dumplings on the side. Hinata served tea to the others.
"Hmmm-mmm-mm!" Naruto hummed. "Mmm-*SLIRRRP*-mm!"
"I'm glad you like it." Hinata told him, blushing.
"You still haven't answered me!" Karui whined.
"I'm not allowed to." Hinata told her, without much sympathy. "And none of you are supposed to be here. If you try to hurt him, I'll punish you."
Karui looked like she'd swallowed a frog. Then she turned red from rage and shot to her feet.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" Karui punched her palm. "I'M the one who will destroy YOU!"
Hinata was unafraid. In fact, she looked angry.
Bee wondered if she knew about what Karui did to Naruto, and held a grudge.
"Aaaah!" Naruto sighed, placing his empty bowl on the table. "Delicious!"
Hinata giggled, blushing.
Naruto got up, stretching and disappearing into another room.
"Bee-San, I'm sorry." She said. "Naruto-kun isn't himself right now. That's all I can say..."
Samui looked up at her. "We actually came as representatives of lord raikage. If you can show us the way out, we'll leave peacefully."
"You've gotta be joking!" Karui objected.
"We can't dig into this." Samui told her. "It's Konoha's business. He's safe here. That's all the information we need."
Karui pouted.
"On your way in, did you notice the areas where the fog is most thick?" Hinata asked.
"Yes." Samui answered. "But we were avoiding them."
"Don't." Hinata instructed. "Follow them to find the village. And this is top secret information. If you tell anyone, you'll be held indefinitely and interrogated."
"We won't speak a word of it." Samui swore, as she and her teammates stood.
HINATA'S POV [IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY LEAVE]
She was relieved to watch them go. Better than to have Karui-chan here, with Naruto-kun.
Sighing in relief as the door closed, she went to Naruto-kun's room, which was actually the deceased fourth hokage's and his wife's room.
"Naruto-kun--"
She gasped. There was no sign of him, but there WAS a hole in the wall.
She placed her hands over her mouth in shock. Did he hear her explain about the exit path?
She ran to the window, leaning out and looking around frantically.
"Naruto-kun?!"
