When Jûbi came, Naruto and Kurama switched sides, and Kurama lead the team.

Kakashi stated that he was leading the team - not Naruto.

Second point;

Naruto has never lead a team.

Being a soldier and attacking first is different.
1. naruto lead the war before kurama influence. 2.but naruto acting like true leader of team in dangerous situations. 3.in some previous chapter kishi said about naruto team.4. im agree that naruto never was leader of team by name or post
Remember, Sasuke was pretty much the leader in team 7. He generally called the shots when Kakashi wasn't around. Look at the Forest of Death. Even Naruto followed Sasuke's orders unquestionably.
nope sasuke listen naruto.

nope sasuke listen naruto.

They both don't listen to each other, but Sakura and Kakashi followed Sasuke more than Naruto.

Sasuke could easily bring Konoha down when a leader.

He does not care about Konoha. He wants to change the system of it - meaning he wants to change the way they do some things. It affects other people, so I'm not surprised if Sasuke would.

Sasuke is a better leader than Naruto. Not even once I remember Naruto taking charge of a team as a head, leading them, and successfully completing the mission. He has always been lead by Shikamaru, Kakashi, Sai, Yamato, Sasuke and Jiraiya.

Note: The war arc. leadings were by Kurama - not Naruto. Pain arc. he was alone.

Whereas Sasuke has lead some; Team Taka and Team 7.

Sasuke has maybe never failed to complete a mission. He has always got the objective of his mission, even though he has suffered great losses. However, he does do his missions sometimes in an evil way. While fighting Sasuke, Danzo took Karin as a hostage and threatened to kill her if Sasuke did anything. This still did not stop Sasuke from attacking - he pierced their both hearts with Chidori.

To me, Sasuke is very good leader, but lacks emotions. To do everything in evil way, will spread hate and can possibly bring your village down.

Naruto lacks logic; he simply can't lead a village, if he can't do the same with a team.

To me, both are a bad idea. Kakashi should be Hokage, and Naruto should fight as one.

Sasuke is a far better leader than Naruto and will finish the task in hand no matter what(which would make him a needed leader) but Sasuke lacks the emotions to become a Hokage though....he could endanger the people of Konoha while thinking about what is good for the Village instead of thinking about the well-being of his citizens(like Danzo with some Tobirama)

The fact that Sasuke and his emotions heavily influence his decisions proves he's not the best leader (Not saying Naruto is, he's exactly the same, just with positive emotions)

Sasuke intends to take the Hokage title by force, and disregard the voice of the people, which is exactly all thats needed to take down your own village. If you can't get the village to trust you, how can he expect the village to follow you?

The village would accept Naruto because he's already earned their trust.

Sasuke is acting like Nagato at this point, he's trying to stop Hatred, with Hatred, and destroying things that aren't even directly related to the Hatred at hand (Tailed Beasts).

I'm guessing this is why a lot of people like to say they believe both Sasuke and Naruto would be both good, Naruto with the heart and Sasuke with the mind. If anyone here is into politics, you would understand the influence. And I agree with the thread header here. It's just the fact that Naruto has been inclined on being hokage since day 1, and everything Sasuke has done AGAINST konoha is on record. However it goes without saying.. Sasuke has endured the ugly truth about konoha, and the pleasantries it had to offer when he lived there. He is educated enough to know what should be done. But a leader is only a leader of himself without his followers. In Sasuke's good leaderships in part II, he lead on for his own benefit. We have yet to see him lead for the better affairs of his followers(although my judgements here wouldn't be TOO accurate, he did not deny Taka what they intended for when they joined him, i.e helped suigetsu acquire a sword. But you get the idea)..
It could literally be done two ways here to the theme of the story. Naruto's devoted dream becomes a reality, or to a lot of us complex thinkers, Sasuke as a character rises to redemption to show that forgiveness is possible and you can walk the right path in the end. I think both qualify in different ways.
Thing is I can see Sasuke with important paperwork and fulfilling objectives with precautions, and I can see Naruto leading a plantation but with a LOT of help from his friends... However, who says the latter is totally a bad thing?

either one is a excellent candidate for hokage but since this narutos manga he will most likely become the next hokage then after that sasuke will take the mantel as hokage after him.

The Hokages are the voice of the people? What bullshit. They are hand-picked by the previous Hokage, save for Hashirama, who was the only Village leader elected through free-vote. Tobirama and Hizuren sure cared a lot about the people, given their horrid leadership qualities in regards to maintaining equality within the village of the Uchiha Clan and Hyuuga Branch Family. Not to mention the other blunders, including the Root Division and Orochimaru by the latter and the full control of politics in the hand of the military by the former.

Shikamaru and the little girly *** lot must hail from some free-loving and free-thinking country, where the public gets the say in political matters. Out of these two, Sasuke is eons better in terms of leader-ship qualities and his own Clan was the victim of Konoha's status as a dictatorial Juggernaut. It needs to be stabilized for the future of minor Clans.

Sasuke would be a great leader if he had the mind of Itachi . Sasuke wants to change the System but not in a good way because I have a feeling that he will try to force the nations to agree with his methods or they will die .
