the main reason why madara never realy recognized sasuke is because having ems and susano probly isn't a big deal to madara. In madaras time the uchiha clan was most likely very powerful before the eaf alliance.(we know in the manga it shows that the older the generation, the stronger. Naruto also overpowered jugoo and sasuke, hell i can go so far as to say the only reason why jugo isn't wild is because he can now handle the transformation due to some kurama chakra, either way the susano is that big due to that powerup. Madara is not impressed...

Completely false. Sasuke is the second Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan user there ever was. Susano'o is extremely rare, so much so that Obito could care less if he lost half of the Akatsuki members to get hold of a user of the technique. Sasuke is an Uchiha who shows the same potential Madara did, it would certainly interest him. Madara not having reacted is simply testament to the current situation and it's importance to him.

^It's stated in the databooks that during Madara's era every Uchiha had access to the Sharingan, probably due to the strife and conflict of his era and the emotion that went along with it. The Mangekyou however was a true rarity even in those times. It's hinted that Madara and Izuna were the only users.

Has Madara even had the time to acknowledge Sasuke? Pretty sure all the power Sasuke has as a ninja period let alone an Uchiha would be considered impressive to another Uchiha regardless of who he is. Had Hashirama been an Edo when Madara first appeared and faced Naruto, Gaara etc... he wouldn't have acknowledged anything. Not really a big deal IMO. It's still possible the two will have some type of interaction which would be interesting to see.
