Was I the only one who thought when the fodders were holding out their weapons and sword and forming hand seals that the God Tree was controlling them. It seemed kind of werid how they were down and dying than all of a sudden their ready to fight. I think that would be cool and make sense if the God Tree could do that because think about it all the living beings on the planet are part of it's lifeforce. Naruto was able to control everyone through his chakra so why wouldn't the God Tree be able to do the same thing?
