Correct me if I'm wrong, but since Hashi appeared again in the manga I think people in these forums no longer consider him "Godlike", I remember a year ago, many many threads praised him as the god of shinobi and he had a huge fanbase among members. Imo his popularity started to decrease a little bit. Madara's too a little bit I think.

Probably a little bit for both because people had their own notions of what they should be and they might not have lived up to it. Hashi especially I've noticed quite a few talk down about his personality as if that impacted his ability as a ninja at all. you could count on 1 hand the ninja of the current generation who could hang with Hashi in a fight and even less who could beat him.
