It's god damn terrible... The Gokage are boring, most of them should have died. It was a bunch of characters simply "appreciating" Naruto... Hinata AND Kiba got to say/think something? Christ... And next chapter will be the same old same old... The alliance uses fodder moves, Sasuke and Naruto attack, everyone fails....

While I'm not one of those people against story progression and character interaction... IT WAS ALL BORING! We've gotten so much of it... And when we do get action, it's only giant fukkin chakra aura's spamming ranged moves. I miss hand to hand combat... God..

i liked the shikamaru part to be honest, it was kinda inspiring. Naruto didn't heal him, he just keep him from dying, tsunade is the one who healed

"the earth is bigger than the tree" must be the worst line barring "Naruto-kun's hand is big and strong" and "pigs do not have hands"

And this Naruto wank is simply redundant. He is like a Messiah c'mon he is "teh savior" but an army of buttlickers are too much.
And your prediction is most likely accurate. Only good part or chapter was seeing Kakashi.

Every chapter is not suppose to be a pleasing/ fast paced one. It's not like an episode of Naruto where the story progresses alot. Kishi had to bring the gokage back into the fightw. the alliance picking back up. I agree with the fact that there are way to many flashbacks now. Everytime something happens we don't need a flashback to build momentum back up.

This healing w. feelings thing is not so bad because it was actually Kuramas chakra. It's not like he pulled it out of his ass.

This is what made this chapter for me, everything else was meh

Well this chapter had its purpose:

- Answered the faction insisting Naruto is too naive for being hokage
- Answered what we have been asking for a while: where the **** is kakashi?
- Gave a good idea what the leadership is planning .... mark onoki's words.
- Made the Shikamaru fans sigh in relief

etc etc etc

.... Also as far as I read the manga, it seemed that Naruto kurama's Cloak was keeping the chakra starved Shikamaru alive like a Life Support machine, his feelings was only the motivator for the chakra cloak to act that way ..... and considering what ailed Shikamaru its quite logical ... also it was Tsunade who actually healed Shika, as even after Shika got up he had a sunken look which disappeared after Tsuna's treatment.

Also remember that the manga is supposed to be read in volumes not chapter wise . . . .

PS Most people never read properly before shooting their mouths.

This was one the worst chapters I've ever read in the series.

Lord, this chapter was just... God awful... That line was pitiful, I wonder if Oonoki will think to make Hashirama or Sasuke/Naruto fly... Probably not. He's just going to continue to spout encouraging lines like he did during his battle with Madara.

Naruto...It's just... Everyone is now "touched" by him. Just because he's done a lot doesn't mean you need to think and praise him...

Kakashi coming back might be good, but I have a feeling he'll be used as another Naruto fanboy...And cast to the side.

'The Earth is bigger than the tree' has quite a tactical reasoning behind it actually (Mangapanda has a horrible translation): Every tree needs anchorage, and its simpler for the shinobi to deny the God tree the anchorage rather than to fight it head on and risk contact with it.

Well ..... the if a person who is hated and mocked nearly all his life turns to most caring person it IS a reason of boundless wonder. Just look at Rl, people still wank Bill Gates and others for being a college dropout ... or wank newton even when he is shady and often enough wrong or inefficient ..... or (God save my soul) wank Justin Gayber for being a 'singer' ...

Also as I said, the Manga is supposed to be read as volumes, not chapters wise .... It makes more sense and is more comfortable that way ...

Shika wasn't saved by "feelings" alone.

Naruto's Ninja Jesus image is a bit over the top now, but it can't be helped really. It's more of a plot device for everyone to fight together, just like Ino is a plot device for everyone to communicate easily.

As long as the manga makes sense withing itself, it's fine.
