Worst Plot no Jutsus Ever

[Snape Uchiha]

Plot no Jutsu: An event that occurs which is illogical according to the story, but happens any for the sake of the plot.

1) Ichigo beats Ulquiorra. This made no sense at all. Ulquiorra was so much more powerful than Ichigo and he was destroying him. Ulquiorra then blew a hole in Ichigo's chest. Orihime cried so Ichigo came back to life as a ridiculously overpowered hollow for no adequately explained reason and beat Ulquiorra.

2) Near outsmarts and defeats Light. Seriously? Light was so much smarter than Near. And Near was nothing compared to L. Also, Near was only introduced 2/3 into the story and yet defeats the main character.

3) The elder wand. In the middle of the last book an all powerful weapon is introduced which Harry uses to beat Voldemort. Furthermore,Harry obtains it from Malfoy by taking a completely different wand, and yet somehow he owns the elder wand also.

2) To be fair, Mello played a vital role in Light's defeat even though it was a small action, so its more like near + mello defeated Light. But yeah, of course he doesn't compare to L

Near doesn't compare to L, no. Though to be fair Near did have more information than L due to the knowledge on the Death Note and such. L had to figure that all out by himself. He also worked together with Mello. Not to mention the fact that Light literally thought he had become a god, and became too arrogant. He was at a point where he believed that it was impossible to lose. Light simply became overconfident, that's it.

he could have still wrote Near's name down on his small sheet of paper while he was lying on the floor wailing. If he had kept the pencil and paper closer after getting shot.
Also Mikami made the game changing mistake that got Mello to discover the second notebook.

Yu-gi-oh - Whenever they make up cards that don't exist.

Dragon Ball Z - Goten (who was trained by Chi-Chi in the woods) matches Trunks (who was trained by Vegeta in the gravity chamber). Super Saiyan 3 was random with no explanations. Gotenks literally pulls it out of his ass. Gohan's potential being non-existant in BoG.

Naruto - Naruto beats Neji. I understand how Kurama gave him chakra but Neji should have taken some more hits, I mean several months later he survives getting a hole in his shoulder.

Death Note - although my memory is a bit hazy on this one, I remember questioning myself about how Near deduced that Mikami was the new Kira just by watching him through the TV.


It's a widely accepted theory that Near used the Death Note on Mikami to make him slip up at the end.

And by the way since now it is revealed that Ichigo=Shinigami+Quincy+Hollow powers, his powers actually make sense a little...

He beats Ulquiorra - I got it why he was that damn ugly Hollow - but I still don't get how exactly he overpowered Ulquiorra. Ichigo wasn't a real Arrancar - he was less. WTF is this Kubo?

Where are his Quincy powers then? - So far we have seen only maybe one of his powers. If he was a Quincy, he would have had zero problems in getting his Shinigami powers back - complicated, don't ask if you don't know the method.

Nakama damn power - Always that Nakama power, just like in Rave Master and Fairy Tail. Getting tired of that BS.

yeah he committed suicide . That's a pretty nice theory though so maybe Near did use it , to get rid of people he couldn't trust who still had info about the Death Note's existence .

Nope, Mello was the key character in the whole event. If he hadn't kidnapped Takada, Mikami wouldn't have gone to write her name in the real Death Note revealing Light's plan. Mikami's initiative act led to Light's loss.

The ending was foreshadowed from the very beginning. You should pay more attention to Light's development, his obsession with power made him forget his original intentions and in the end it's just like Near said, he's just a serial killer with God complex. He would've ended up destroying the world himself, the ending couldn't have taken other direction. The show and the finale are really unorthodox nonetheless
