You should just ignore that guy.... he's upset and needs to work his emotions out... but you're tripping if you think ino is a bigger help to the alliance right now... sure she's acting as the new HQ almost, connecting the whole alliance's minds.. but everyone would probably already be dead if it wasnt for sakura.. but ino is sexier

As a whole Sakura has been more useful, but as this moment right now Ino is being more of a help to the alliance.

That was her attempting to heal Shikamaru, but a little bit later the whole "it's too late" moment kicks in. Throughout everything after moment with Naruto and Sasuke she isn't doing her role as a healer. There are probably tons of wounded ninja waiting to be healed at the moment and every time we see her besides the time you put which was short, she's standing beside one of the K11 members just watching the action instead of healing others.

I mean seriously? People are putting Sakura in the range of "Jonin level', "elite/high jonin level", and even "Low-kage level". With the seal obviously. Though I would place her at high jonin level with the seal and just jonin level in base.

Where is Ino? High chunin level or special jonin level? It's obvious Ino is in a tier behind Sakura. Btw Ino is my favorite female character in this manga, so I'm not hating.

But obviously if she was going to be Sakura's rival, Kishi screwed it up. Ino is now just a powerful support Ninja. Is there anyway she can POSSIBLY catch up to Sakura? Or at least be on the same tier?

Maybe if she had Dan's spirit technique as well, or something. But otherwise I don't see anything that puts her close. It's actually kind of annoying me.

Here is some examples of characters who've stayed close in power:
Jiraiya and Orochimaru
Kakashi and Gai
Neji and Lee
Temari and Shikamaru
Madara and Hashirama

Though certain characters may have always been stronger or there was a clear winner, they've at least been comparable.

Now the two who haven't are:
Ino and Sakura (Sakura destroys with or without base)

Ugh, just a thought. Yes I'm angry but not really about this.

I don't think they even consider each other rivals anymore. You don't see them fighting for Sasuke's affection, right? Let me remind you that they were more like rivals "in love" than power-wise. Unlike Naruto and Sasuke or Lee and Neji they never competed in terms of abilities outside of Chuunin Exam fight.
