Wow you guys are such trolls. I see a whole bunch of posts that are like "he oneshots" or "he oneshots." Tobirama is a Hokage and a genius; there's no way a single attack takes him out. Sasori is vastly underrated; he's easily Kage level and there's no way Tobirama just beats him with the water sword right off that bat. Pls stop trolling.
I see this battle going several ways depending on the conditions. Sasori always starts in Hiruko, but yes Tobirama could cut it with his water... but yes Sasori could escape his destroyed puppet. So I'm just going to pretend Hiruko doesn't exist.
Now, if this is outside, I'd give it Tobirama. I think we can all agree that the 100 puppets are fodder that, despite their poison, Tobirama can easily avoid with s/t and take out in large numbers with his suiton techs. But the main thing is that the third kazekage isn't effective enough outside where Tobirama can just teleport wherever he wants. He isn't remotely pinned down or threatened by world form and he can just teleport to Sasori, most likely using his infinite explosions or the suitonhada if need be. The only problem with suitonhada is that Tobirama would have to hit Sasori's heart dead on with it, or sasori would keep jumping bodies and prolong the battle so there's a better chance of Tobirama being poisoned. I still think because of his maneuverability outside with s/t, however, that Tobirama wins this (high difficulty, fanboys).
If this is inside, Tobirama has much more difficulty; tho he can teleport he'd still be in close quarters with poisoned weapons and poisoned world form, along with poison gas. Teleporting doesn't really help against being trapped inside with a bunch of poison attacks that severely limit maneuverability. And if even one hits Tobirama would lose this (or at least die even if he does win). Tobirama would have to ignore distractions and teleport directly to sasori's main body so that he could use infinite explosions ftw. The only problem of course being that he's trapped in an enclosed space with the explosions. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm not entirely sure suitonhada would be a viable method, so if the battle's inside I see Tobirama winning but it's also a suicide.
I think op said no edos, but if there were edos then Tobirama could win both scenarios much easier.
