Hinata's TRUE feelings for Naruto

It is common Knowledge that Hinata loves Naruto. However most people do not really understand what this means.
This is what most people think it means:
1) Hinata wants to be Naruto's girlfriend/wife
2) Hinata does not want Naruto to be with another girl.

The first one is only partially true, and the second one not at all. The above assumptions go according to the premise that Hinata loves Naruto in a selfish way and cares about what happens to herself in the end.

I will now explain how Hinata actually feels.

1) Hinata is greatly inspired by Naruto
2) Hinata does not care what happens to her as long as Naruto is ok. She doesn't care if she dies if she can save Naruto

3) Similarly Hinata want Naruto to be Happy. As such, she doesn't require that he be with her. If Naruto was happy in a relationship with Sakura, Hinata would be Happy.

As you can clearly see, Hinata is happy that Naruto is save and is happy about the close relationship Naruto has with Sakura.
4) Hinata wants to be close to Naruto.

Now this does not mean she wants to be Naruto's exclusive girlfriend and it certainly does not mean she doesn't want Naruto to be with Sakura. It is because Naruto inspires her and she cares so much for him that she wants to be near him and fight with him. Even in a situation where Naruto was with Sakura, Hinata would still want to fight with Naruto and she would not expect or want Naruto to leave Sakura for her.

In conclusion.
1) Hinata is inspired by Naruto and is in love with him
2) She wants Naruto to be safe and happy and is not upset if he likes another girl
3) She wants to be with Naruto and fight with him because of how much she loves him and how much he inspires her.

I did. The gist of it is; Hinata does love Naruto in a "wife/girlfriend" type of way, but her admiration is much more. He inspired her to move on from her down comings (in her clan primarily) and she cares if he's happy; seen when Sakura hugged him after the Pein Invasion and Hinata was happy for him. It goes beyond the stereotype that people have of her that she's his "stalker" which has no proof.
