There is characters in naruto who can solo him but the author wants naruto to fight him .

As you can see karin said "maybe i should join" she was about to join and fight him meaning she could beat him but its look like she wont because kishimoto wants naruto to fight him .

Hashirama could fight him too but he is busy with madara although hashirama said obito is stronger than him .

He and karin could fight him together uzumaki +senju = dead obito
