Opinions on Edo tensei

I personally think it should count as a summon and when people say things like "kabuto solos everyone" it's about as lame as people who say part 1 naruto or sakura can take stronger characters using their summons but I was just wondering how others see it

Agreed, its stupid and kishi basically gave up on naruto when he made it come back up in part 2.

Summoning jutsu is part of someone's power. The living being summoned by it isn't. It is only part of someone's power if we are talking about it army wise.

example, "so and so was the strongest person because he had the strongest army under his control".

However when it comes to ones own power : "So and so was the strongest man on the planet because he could lift that much weight".


So it depends.

Its part of his power, but he cant use it as effectively as many fans like to believe.

If he's not careful he kills himself with edo, if he doesnt have anko's chakra then strong edos resist/contradict orders, & he needs to add in the edo's sealing talismans during battle, otherwise it counts as prep.

All of these things are never considered with kabuto, people think that kabuto summons an army & solos, lol that aint happening.

it's not that much of a feat...!edo tensei can be stopped. If person knows the seals i think he can cancel out the jutsu as hiruzen did against orochimaru and summoner can't fight himself if he is controlling edo's, as demonstrated by orochimaru.. i think strong summon require quit a focus to control... So in my personal opinion kage level ninjas do have a chance to beat kabuto if they know how to stop edo tensei...!
