coolest personality. Kisame or Itachi?

For some reason "cool" in anime is someone extremely quiet and calm.

I think Kisame is cooler.

Try talking with someone like Itachi in real life. I have a friend like this, and he honestly scares me.

Kisame has a more appealing personality, for me. His brashness, **** attitude but still the fact that he's still knowing his place as a simple soldier is something I like.

Itachi has a flare about him, but I'm not the biggest fan of emotionless characters.

Both possess exquisite personalities..
Itachi has more of a mystique oriented personality who punches out wise-advice quite a bit that invokes thought.. Never direct. Kisame is very blunt and rash and is quite direct and cynical when it comes to his articulation. I prefer Itachi.

Madara has showcased unconditional love for his clan, his brother and arguably Hashirama as well. He sympathized and has a cynical attitude. He has emotions.. Itachi appears to be one of the most, if not the most emotionless characters when he appears in his facade form.

This is true indeed, I was just referring to Madara being emotionless since his Reanimation, for the most part at least.

Itachi has the cliche anime cool

Kisame is cool in the sense of him being nonchalant about everything

This times 9000, Itachi was so boring to me once he turned into a good guy, to this day I think kishi did not intend for him to be a good guy originally, He was the one guy who knows it all and has an iron clad sense of justice, who supposedly even as a youngster had a kages way of thinking... imho this makes him too generic, a few moments he had were ok, but personality wise there's no comparison, Kisame is a way more interesting character.

Itachi's just a perfect goody goody who can't fail, which makes him boring.

I understand what you mean though...Kisame is more flexible in moods vs Itachi who majority of the time has an equanimity about him 95% of the time.
