Hell Yes.
Just what the doctor ordered.
As a Single bacholorette, living in a small town next to the beach...
this is music to my eyes. And who said California was a terrible place to live?xd
Those of you living in crap states like Montana, and Illinois, Mississippi, Florida, (most states that arent cali.) And so on and so forth, look on the bright side......:eww:
Ahh, I got nothing. Just move to cali.

Perhaps. Or perhaps they will raise your wages to just $10.00. However, why raise the minimum wage if it will undoubtedly hurt the middle class in that state?
Since when did Cali care about middle class?
they wont LOWER my wage..to 10.00 if I am already making more. They will have to raise it a few dollars to make it even to the raises I have.

Erm... this is probably just to account for inflation. But hey, the cost of living in California is higher than most states. I'd know, I live there too.

Good lord, I hope they do, considering California has a predominantly-Liberal slant. That's what the political spectrum is all about--directly creating legislative regulation to make the lives of the commonman significantly more livable. The poverty line can also be helped, but in ways that doesn't indirectly affect the middle class.

If I started at 8.00 the was raised to lets say....10.00
and then the wage increase went into effect, I wouldnt be making 10.00, I would then be making 12.00
Here that may even things out, but elsewhere, cheaper than cali that would be 4 dollars extra than if I would have went there originally at the normal wage

In cali, its mostly about the upperclass.

LA, San Diego, San Fran, Monterey, all those places, money is focused on the upperclass areas where tourists visit. Everything else is a after thought. Cali is a harsh place

If it wasn't so expensive to live that might be a big deal. OP how is Cali? I'm thinking about moving out there next year.
It is expensive, if you want a *Good* job, you either have to be talented, speak spanish, or be attractive. Cali is a hard place to live, But once you find that staple. Your good.

Maybe I misread (but I'm sure I didn't), but you didn't you imply we should "just move to cali?" Is this your argument for that?
