Who raised Naruto as an infant?

It was just a random thought that crossed my mind today when i was thinking about the whole situation with Minato and Kushina. Surprisingly this never crossed my mind before that he was basically left by them as a new born and someone had to have taken care of him to a certain age where he could manage to be on his own.

I am not entirely sure if this is known or not. I think this could have been potential to have had a first person in Naruto's life who he had some attachment to. Kinda like Gaara and that person who's name escapes me .. Lol. I mean his first was Iruka and initially he kinda hated Naruto.

An infant can't raise itself. Probably an orphanage, or Jiraiya until he got old enough to start going to school. He probably just doesn't remember it though since he was so young.

Well, there was this filler moment I saw on YouTube where Hiruzen was doing his "weekly check" on Naruto. Maybe he sorta had influence. That might be a reason Naruto acts so..."Narutoish" towards him, because he knows Hiruzen well.

A monthly checkup isn't good enough for a day old child who just got older by the month, can't walk or do anythign for himself.

This monthly check up thing is only relevant lets say from the age of 2-3 at least. Since ninja in this show have grad ages of like 6 i assume he would be able to manage from that age.

I was talking about later on, I think that it was just nannies taking care of him til' he was ready to live alone, then Hiruzen's "care-taker" of the year status was put in....that old bastard...
