What character was your favorite in Naruto before shippuden?

Mine was Either Neji or Orochimaru, what about you, and why?

Neji because he was badass and i really liked the byakugan back then, orochimaru because he was sinister, manipulating and plain evil, now hes meh.. still like his character tho.

Hinata. She still is a favourite. Helped show that even people who weren't born with an amazing knack for fighting could show their worth. Her endurance against Neji was pretty cool IMO.


And Haku... Such a gentle soul. Awesome style and appearance too.... He should have lived.

Been a fan of Itachi since his first appearance, at first it was because he was an absolute badass, especially when he kicked Sasuke's ass =)

I got into Naruto after being shown first several Shippuuden episodes, but my favorite character of Part I is probably Lee. My other faves are all Part II exclusive.
