Hi! Today, i'll prove why SS won't become canon, even if i ship it.
1. Their feelings aren't mutal.(Captain Obvious here)
Obviously the romantic thing is only one-sided, but if we get to analyze their relationship, Sasuke already got rid of their bond and he did it easily because it wasn’t even that deep. Many SS fans bring up the part one, and the scenes like when he protected her in the FOD, but i guarantee he would do the same for Naruto. But, if you bring up Pt 1, then remember how fangirlish Sakura was, she never told her real opinion, but always sticked to Sasuke's. Later, he did recognize her as a fellow comrade, because she grew on him as his teammate. He did protect her at times, but only because she was his teammate, not because he loved her or whatsoever. However, he ignored her half of the time and was an as the other half. I agree that he somehow cared for her, but it wasn't so deep as he got rid of it in no time.
2. She was (and still is) in love with the illusion
Sure Sakura claimed she loved him but her words trying to stop him were quite shallow: like "I’d be alone as you are if you leave"! "Stay with me!" or ”Take me with you!” I think that right then she was in love with the idea of Sasuke, the image of him she built in her head. Let’s call it an illusion. An illusion she’s been growing up with, waiting for his return. And as an illusion it remains because the current Sakura doesn’t even trust him. Trying to figure out if Sakura’s love for him is real and eternal like SS fans affirm it’s just ridiculous so let’s say she loves him. Ok then she loves him, but is it worth it?
This pic tells us the answer.
She's not happy because she loves him, she's depressed because of the mere thought about him. And it damages her.
She was even ready to kill him.
In part 2 there was no positive developement for SasuSaku at all.
Also something I’ll never understand is that SS fans think that once everything is over and everyone is fine, Sasuke will automatically return Sakura feelings. But why? So far there are not hints, those are headcanons and that’s it! He didn't even think of her in Part 2! Sasusaku has the most negative development out of all Naruto pairings. They’ve just exchanged a few words in latest chapters you know like Sasuke saying "Sakura huh" and that’s all. And SS fans go crazy because of it. Sure, he did acknoveledge(sorry for spelling) her, but that doesn't mean a thing. Everything else is Sakura feeling like crap because of him and them trying to kill each other. Even when he was sane, Sasuke had shown no such a thing like hesistation to kill her when they first saw each other in two and half years. Why? Because he didn’t care. He gives no ****s
Conclusion:
Sasusaku has always been in such a negative light from the start that it would feel forced and unrealistic. There is no way that it would work out with the information that Kishimoto has been presented to us in more than 600 chapters of the manga.
Thanks for the read.
