[Discussion] Rank the Fairy Tail Guild members in terms of strength.

[Rokudaime Hokage Naruto]

1) Natsu (Lighting Fire/Dragon Force) Lighting Fire was enough to put a beating on Hades, and that was pre second origin
2) Gildarts - Stated by Makarov that Jura was a match for Gildarts. Jura 5th strongest saint and Mackarov isn't in the top 4
3) Laxus - Defeated Jura
4) Mackarov - Guild Master
5) Mystogan - gave pre-training Laxus a run for his money
6) Natsu (Normal) - Soloed the twin dragons and tried to solo the Sabertooth guild
7) Erza - Strongest woman in the guild
8) Mirajane - Portrayed as very close to Erza
9) Gray - had second origin unlocked
10) Gajeel - chosen for team Fairy Tail


I've only read up until the end of the Grand Magic Games arc, so I could be wrong.

Natsu can enter Lightening Fire mode of his own will and before he had his second origin unlocked, this mode was enough to beat down Hades who effortlessly dispatched of Mackarov. Imagine how powerful that mode is now.

4. Erza--> Nakagmi rules all, also took on 100 monsters Pre SO
5. Mirajane-->Base, Halphas and Sitri are extremely powerful takeovers. Soul extection rules=D
6. Natsu-->LDF is clearly powerful could give the S class mages some trouble
7. Gray--> Ice shell and Ice bringer and things rule
8. Gajeel--> His ISD form can hold some trouble but it isn't invincible.
9. Lucy-->Urano Metria, Regulus impact and Unison raids pact some punches.
10. Freed-->His forbidden demon spell was enough to go head to head with base Mirajane for a minute or two.
11. Juvia--> Her water is no joke
12. Wendy--> Skydrill can put the hurt on you
13. Bicklow-->His Babies and figure eyes is no joke.
14. Evergreen-->Fairy Bomb and needles can be a threat.
15. Elfman-->His pacts a punch and some speed with his takeovers.
16. Max-->
17. Cana--> just because the rest aren't important.

Lucy and freed could easily switch though, same with Gray and Gajeel.

Mate Hades wiped the floor with Mackarov, but Natsu was able to stand up to him in LFD mode, and that was before Natsu had his Second Origin unlocked.

Mackarov also stated to be a weaker saint than Jura, but Laxus defeated Jura.

also Natsu took on Hades with 4 other people and than Laxus, Natsu was beat down no diff, Laxus saved his life and Natsu only got a few shots in because Laxus hadn't transfered all his magical power to Natsu before he got hit, and even that would not have happened if two coincidences had not happened: 1. the exceeds destroying the heart and saving the life of everyone that was in that battle with Hades and 2. Ultear restoring the tree that gave divine protection to FT members as well as restored their power ...... without that all of FT, including Natsu, would be screwed big time

I'm not saying he would have won. I'm saying his LFD mode fared better against Hades than both Mackarov and Laxus, which is true. That put pre-second origin Natsu atleast on the same level if not above Laxus and Mackarov. With his improvement and second origin released that is only going to increase.

Makarov was in shocked. and He couldn't win against Hades because Hades life support was the heart in the ship. Grey is powerful, smart, and he's learning. I feel like Grey has becomes alot weaker then Natsu, but with the ways things are going I smell a power up part coming up. He can already remove Ice Shell.

Natsu had absolutely no chance against Hades while Tenrou tree was down and Hades' hart was intact, same goes for every FT member, including Gildarts and Makarov

and in the GMG it was clearly hinted that Laxus in above Natsu

Laxus would've done the same amount of damage if he were to use DF, but he didn't for the reasons Pure Logic gave.

Laxus didn't want to defeat Hades anyways. He left it up to Natsu "A Guild Member". Also, the heart gave Hades a super power up.

1) Gildarts - He's obviously the strongest in the guild at the moment.
2) Laxus - He's catching up to Gildarts.
3) Natsu - We've yet to see Natsu go all out or even enter Dragon Force mode yet and when he does I think he'd either be just as strong as Laxus or just a little weaker.
4) Erza - I think if Natsu went all out and battled her seriously he would beat her.
5) Makarov - Not quite as strong as Natsu or Erza now but he's not far off.
6) Gajeel - Just seems right to place him here.
7) Gray - Same reason as Gajeel.
8) Mirajane - Even though she's classed as an S Rank she's lost what she used to be.
9) Elfman - He's seriously underestimated.
10) Juvia - I have no reason.

I'm not going to put Lucy in as frankly I don't view her strong enough to put her in the top 10.
