Hashirama's act on Kage Summit my point of view

Greetings.
Like i said i want you to explain Hashirama's acts on Kage Summit.
First of all Hashirama desired for peace.Remember that word peace!
He was the strongest shinobi in that time(now surpassed by Obito Jinchuuriki)he could with ease kill them all and proclaim their villages as his land,but that would lead to huge war,he knows that and with war doesn't come peace,he was ready to do anything to proclaim peace,bowing his head to other 4 Kage's inst a big deal,but people sees it like big failure of great Hashirama Senju,so i think now you understand his actions.
