Is Kankuro by far the worst puppet user of the three?

Between himself, Chiyo, and Sasori, why is Kankuro so much weaker? Even after he got the Sasori puppet he wasn't that impressive as the Sasori puppet by itself is barely above Karasu. He only has like 4 puppets and does not have all the special feats that Sasori had controlling puppets and his ability to use dead bodies and their moves from when they were alive.. And he doesn't have all the crazy skills that Chiyo displayed.

Because he turned himself into a puppet? Because he can control hundreds of puppets at the same time? Because he has Monzaemon's Ten Puppets which he can control by using one finger per puppet?
Kankuro is by far the worst of the three. Hope he gets better some time.

Featwise I can't see how Kankuro surpassed Sasori. What he did in that cave vs Chiyo and Sakura was extremely impressive, particularly when he used the 100 puppets and when he used the third kazekage, along with his myriad of poisons that were a one hit death against anything except a sannin trained medical nin.

Kankuro did not surpass Sasori, and it is very obvious why. Anyway Kakuro is not "much" weaker than them. He is actually very, very, strong. Salamander puppet is bada$$,+ iron maiden and now he has Sasori puppet that has the abilities Sasori used(fire, water, wing blades, bladed cord) imo he is >= Chiyo.

he is weakest in puppet skill.....but I think his puppets are at the level or at least near the level of Sasori's and Chiyo's

I don't believe Kankuro has surpassed Chiyo or Sasori. If we were to put them up against one another, Kankuro would lose to both Chiyo and Sasori. I don't see any feats that shows he has surpassed Sasori or Chiyo in any shape or form.

I think there are different levels of puppet skill. Edo Sasori was very impressed with how Kankuro used his chakra strings and how much his control had improved. In terms of string control Kankuro may have surpassed Sasori, but he is at a disadvantage because chiyo and sasori's puppets are OP.

Yes he is. Prime sasori stomps him any day of the week, and chyio's skill and exp > kankuro's.
