i know most of us know this but alot of people say they are close in terms of strength

lemme tell you why thats not true

1- back anes lobby( i don't remember the name quite well but you know what i mean !! ) the m3 got new power ups

luffy=gear 2 and 3 !

sanji= devil legs

zoro=asura !!!

now we know luffy had more trouble fighting lucci due to the fact that his power were way higher than the other two i think he was 4000 or so and the others were 2800 !!

in terms of power ups luffy come first or does he ???

when luffy and sanji got there power ups the used it a lot even now when luffy beat the pacifsta he used gear 2

and sanji used his devil legs but zoro didn't !!

in fact back in ennis lobby he defeated kaku with asura with one shoot !! unlike sanji who took some damage and had to attack him twice and luffy
the fact that zoro used asura only 2 times means he don't need it !!! unlike the other two

so imho zoro power up were much stronger than sanji's even when they fought the pacifiscta after the TS sanji had to go devil jumbile and zoro used his three swords style and if i remember it was just a slash without even a name !!

Diablo jambe is more of a perk then a special attack like Asura is. Zoro's asura is meant to be a 1-hit KO.

I'm having a hard time understanding; your title suggests that this thread will be about Zoro being less than Sanji, by a lot, but from what I gathered in the thread itself (which was a tad confusing to read), it sounds like you're saying Zoro is better than Sanji, which is contrary to your title?

Zoro has always been over Sanji in my opinion, all that's needed to prove this is the matchups they were in ever since they became pirates. Zoro has almost always fought the stronger opponents compared to Sanji's. So in my eyes Zoro is over Sanji but by a slight margin.

I disagree.
The power gap is too slim. However Zoro is always fighting the second strongest enemy which is why the general consensus is to think Zoro>Sanji.

If anyone says Sanji is stronger than Zoro, I can't debate on that. Fanboys/Fangirls, you can't argue with them.

Zoro and Sanji could be close equal in strength, but it's very clear that Zoro always ahead than Sanji.

To put it in numbers (theoretically)

Luffy: 100% of power
Zoro: 98.99%
Sanji: 90%

i know this but im talking about the power ups .... sanji relay's on his divel legs too much !! and zoro did the same damage to the pacifiscta without asura !!

Zoro's powerups have been incredibly badass! I would like to see how he has developed his Asura technique over the timeskip as with those techniques it would make lots of sense for him to gain the Nidai and later on Shodai Kitetsu , but what makes Sanji cool is not his powerups in my opinion but the fact that he can keep up with a swordsman and a devil fruit user while being unarmed.

I feel like it's always been foreshadowed that Zoro is stronger by a little bit. Look back at enies lobby Zoro fought kaku who has 2200 doriki and Sanji fought Jabura who has 2180 doriki. Zoro also got a bounty before Sanji did.
