Ino Yamanaka

There have been hundreds of threads about Sakura and Hinata, so I decided to post a thread about Ino.

A character analysis of Ino Yamanaka:
Ino is a character with a surprising amount of development considering how little she is shown in the plot.
When she was a child she was strong willed and caring. Her will was strong to the point of being stubborn. She tried to help Sakura and would not allow anyone to bully her. I think she also liked the feeling that Sakura was dependent on her, but there is no doubt that she cared about Sakura.
However when she found out that Sakura also “liked” Sasuke, her stubbornness took over her caring nature and she refused to allow Sakura to “be with” the boy that she “liked”, which is what caused her to separate from Sakura. As she got older, her strong will took the form of obnoxiousness.
Next comes the Chuunin exams. This is the first time her life was in danger. She was faced with the choice to run and save herself or put her life at risk and help Sakura. In this traumatizing situation, her trivial crush on Sasuke seemed less important than her friendship with Sakura, and her strong will helped her to stand up and fight.
When she was battling against Sakura (the most pathetic fight I’ve ever seen) she came to terms with the conflict between her friendship and rivalry with Sakura. She realized she needed her friendship with Sakura, but the rivalry should still continue alongside the friendship. This way, they still “competed” over Sasuke and made each other stronger while being friends at the same time.
I can’t say that she changed that much from Asuma’s death. I guess it can be said that she grew more serious and less frivolous than she was before. This would be even more true about her Father’s death.
Now, in the war, she is a more serious character, strong willed and less concerned about petty things, and determined to help the alliance win.

Ino's the third best Kunoichi, character wise, in the hidden leaf.

Ten-Ten would be #1.

Tsunade is #2.

Ino is my favorite female character in the series. She's a great support type ninja but has shown skills like taijutsu also.. And yeah, she is strong willed, Asuma even told her to look after Shika and Choji. The thing I don't like about her is her persistent "love" for Sasuke that somehow remained throughout those years but at least she doesn't let it cloud her mind during battles. I also felt that her telepathy power-up was a rather random plot device, but well.

I like Ino she really has improve & she has proven herself in this war arc , she did very well , Respect . Second best female this arc .

u joking? tenten is arguably the worst character in the entire naruto series, she only has weapons, only is thought to be significant because she is on a team with Neji, the genius of the hyuga, Gai sensei who is the second best jounin in the leaf village, and Lee who is just like Gai. She is constantly put in a position where she needs to be rescued and she really has no real skills, not to mention she gets the fan out of no where just to make her relevant. Anko gets less air time and she is way better than tenten.

I find her awesome, her personality really is awesome, and the way she and Sakura were friends as kid was great. She made Sakura what she is. At least, partly.

u joking? tenten is arguably the worst character in the entire naruto series, she only has weapons, only is thought to be significant because she is on a team with Neji, the genius of the hyuga, Gai sensei who is the second best jounin in the leaf village, and Lee who is just like Gai. She is constantly put in a position where she needs to be rescued and she really has no real skills, not to mention she gets the fan out of no where just to make her relevant. Anko gets less air time and she is way better than tenten.

TenTen solos. Better to not have much screen time but not mess things up than to have screen time and cry. (Sakura)

Actually; Tenten was the only female in k11 who did not have a goal concerning a boy crush.
Also the fact that she is able to keep up with her teammates who are strong compared to majority of their peers and an elite jounin sensei in all those missions shows that she is not incapable.
Nothing much but she aided Lee in chuunin for copying and helped Neji developing kaiten.
And she had few paneltime; she was actually trying to do something in the Kazekage Rescue arc instead of crying, *****ing, depending on a male etc.

People seriously need to look passed the strength in a character, Ten-Ten is the best Kunoichi.
