Hmm this is a nice theory. I gotta say that the Death God does have Male characteristics, but other than that I would say this theory is very probable.

wow, yes. seems possible. after all we cant just look @ the shinigami and say it had male characteristics. in naruto you cant just make assumptutions based on physical appearance, after all obito looked like an adult when he attacked minato, in contrast kakashi and guy looked like almost fully developed teens, but not adults. plus what else could have happened to the mother. even if it doesnt turn out this way, + rep

OMG... stop saying this! The Shinigami was NOT unsealed by the Uchiha Tablet, the mask was clearly the key to it. Oro never made mention of the tablet when he outlined his plane to unseal his arms and the hokages.
