PC vs XBOX vs PS3.

I have never expirinced this lag either. Although, I have experienced lag on it （ ¬‿¬). No one was using our internet, so it can't be because of multiple online users. It's never happened on my Xbox, either. My friend who has a PS3 says he doesn't play online because of it's servers. I usually don't play a game for story mode only, so playing online is a big thing for me. I'm not going to get a console that's iffy about the online.

Every system lags, even PC's.

I honestly think it's just some type of placebo affect lmao.

Well yeah, no duh. I only play Battlefield 3 (and soon to be 4 <3) online on PC, so I usually never encounter lag at all. But, on my Xbox, I rarely lag. Only whenever someone with terrible connection is host of the game. But, even by being host on PS3, there's still small frame rate issues, and I usually am 2-3 bar, instead of 4 bar like on my Xbox.

No idea what this "placebo effect" is.

Remember that all connection to the server depends on your PING. If your PING is 780 (terrible), you are .78 seconds behind everyone else, and that's the difference between living and getting sniped.

You do realize this game was released as multi-console, right? Meaning, it was on both PS3 and Xbox.

OT: I have a gaming PC and it is the master race. So what, I don't get GTA V on the PC. Big flippin' deal. I have it for my Xbox and it's not that great. I still play beautifully amazing games like Skyrim, Fallout, Battlefield 3 (this game, and Battlefield 4, are quite orgasmic) and others. A PC can handle games so much better, and the graphics and gameplay are more smoother. If you don't think PC is better than consoles, that's because you don't have a very good PC and haven't played games in HD. I pity you all.

PC > Xbox > PS3 (this opinion is biased, I own all three systems but the PS is just bad ONLINE wise)

Well I've never had a strong enough pc for gaming but if I did I would use that. The mods that you can do to games are just something that can't happen on a console. Like my pal had a basketball game on his and he modded the players to looks like the characters from space jam it was pretty cool.

So i have several catergories.


Graphics

Pc>>>Ps3>360

This really shouldnt be hard to grasp....A good pc, is lightyears ahead of these consoles, and is still quite far ahead from the next gen consoles

Multiplayer

Pc=Xboxlive>ps network
(Well truthfully xbox live, is generally better than pc(since it is more consistant and organized, and secure) but pc with game selection, beats the xbox.(due to the fact that pcs have games such as wow, and many other multiplayer games(that are primarily multiplayer))


Singleplayer/games that are primarily story mode

Pc>>Ps3>>360

Pc beats ps3, because pc can have much better graphics(a big thing in singleplayer games), and is more versatile. Ps3 is strong at graphics and singleplayer games, while 360 is better at multiplayer games(than ps3),while wii is best at party games.(i didnt add wii to the list because its main strength is party games, more than anything. But wii has some great singleplayer games as well. Just not as diverse as above)


Controllers

Pc>>360>>ps3

Pc can use the controllers from both consoles, can have better and more precise controlers. Basically it has everything console controllers have, and more. The 360 controlller is MUCH BETTER than the ps3.....simple fact.....its way more ergonomic, and easy to use


Mod/customizeing

Pc>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ps3>=360.

Not even a contest...... I think ps3 is more easily moddable, than 360, but i left it at >= since i am unsure.


Game library.

Consoles>= Pc

While Pc does have a vast library, it lacks the amount of solo consoles titles that consoles do. Generally there are more games on ps3, than xbox.

(pc probably has a bigger library, but it doesnt have all the games that consoles do. Its pretty close though)


Survivability.

Pc> consoles.

Pcs last longer, because if you break a part, you can easily replace it. Also you can upgrade it as well. Ive had my desktop for 4 years(and it was a cheap 200 dollar range desktop) and it still runs(if i took better care of it it would run better though) If i chose to i could reset it and get continued life out of it. If not for a house fire, i would probably have a 7 year old desktop.(it isnt my only pc though)

It can be more difficult to keep consoles lasting(though older gen consoles, last very good(gamecube and below etc).


Price effectiveness

Ps3>Xbox>Pc

Consoles are much cheaper than a great pc, and would generally cost less over time. Ps3 beats xbox, because ps3 does 2 things. 1 free multiplayer, and 2 it has a blueray player(so you dont have to buy a player like you would with xbox)



Possible portability

PC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>xbox=ps3

As there are gameing laptops, that can still easily defeat the 360 and ps3, and they are portable, it is no contest. A desktop is bit less mobile than a console.

Overall

PC>>>>>Xbox=ps3

Pc is much better overall, than both consoles. Both consoles have different things they are better at. Xbox, has a splendid multiplayer service, while ps3 has better graphics, and better storymode/singleplayer games. Some people like one, some people like the other.


Btw, the computer im useing, is at best a mid grade computer. I will probably play more pc, once i get a new, and GOOD desktop. Currently i play a tad more pc than console though.

Ps3 best for people who play soloplayer games, and enjoy higher graphics. Xbox is better at people who like to compete, and play multiplayer games, and people who like pretty good graphics. Wii is for people who dont care much about graphics, and play for pure fun. Its best playing at a party. It has little to no multiplayer, and lesser graphics.
