Kabuto Could Control Edo Madara

People seem to think that Edo Madara could break Kabuto's control over him at any time he wanted. And I don't blame them. It certainly seems that way after seeing this page so long ago.

However, isn't it funny how Madara only attempted that after Kabuto's control over Edo Tensei was very quickly lessening due to Izanami?

Kabuto let Madara do absolutely whatever he wanted because it brought sheer chaos to the Shinobi Alliance, and he also wanted to see a fraction of a god's power.

At any point in time Kabuto could have pulled this maneuver.

Basically what Orochimaru did to Hashirama and Tobirama against Hiruzen in part 1. Fry his personality, will, consciousness, whatever you want to call it .

Hashirama was strong enough to break out of Orochimaru's control. Given Madara has Hashirama's DNA and possibly Sage mode I don't see Kabuto controlling him.

I've always seen Kabuto making a re-appearance though.

Because he is a medic, on top of Orochimaru's student I will say there are few who he can not control. His chakra control must enhance his hold on the technique

He's trying to keep it on the down low, If he goes full force, He'll have your jaw dropped in a blink of an eye. Lol

Kabuto was at a gamble - it was unknown if he had the chakra to control Madara. You could also speculate that Madara know little of how much Kabuto was in control. Therefore, they both took a gamble to further their goals.

^Thank you. Kabuto is a pretty smart guy. It would be incredibly foolish for him not to put a talisman in Madara's head.
