Even if the situation occurs where the area mei is in is shrouded by the boil release mist? Just a question because my thoughts are mostly that w/o prep Minato will have to get his strategy set up and all. If the mist got up I don't know how the fight would play out.

Other than that scenario i think Minato would win pretty easily.

To your question: Minato can use the Space Time Barrier on Mei and teleport her to his desired location and then game over.
I dont consider, Minato using the ST tech so recklessly (he usually uses this on emergency like the Bijuu-Dama) but in this case he has to use it otherwise there's no point in just waiting outside the mist's range which he can easily do via the FTG and FTG lvl2.

Thanks for clearing that up. And yes @ the other part i know he could easily escape but like you said it wouldnt have a point as there would be no fight. xD
