Either of them with half the fruit takes Hashirama/Madara Mid difficulty. Give Naruto the other half of Kurama and the Rinnegan and give Sasuke PS with half the fruit and they stomp Hashirama and Madara.

EMS is a downgrade version of Rinnegan, I guarantee you that Rikudou Sennin didn't have EMS.

The two main characters are Naruto and Sasuke.

They're going to be the two strongest individuals by the end of the Manga, that much has been clear since part 1.

He doesn't need the fruit to gain the Rinnegan, fusing all the Bijuu chakra into a new chakra (Juubi's chakra) would allow him to unlock the Rinnegan and its confirmed that Naruto has Rikudou's chakra essence so its very likely that he will manifest inside Naruto's mind.

Bijuu's chakra has effects on their jinchuriki. Roshi has magma release, Han has steam release, Naruto has whiskers, Gaara can manipulate sand, etc.

I'm neutral towards the idea, but I don't let my feelings toward a character or their power level, etc. cloud my judgement.

Whether I'd like for him to obtain it or not, I still support the idea.

I can see naruto unlocking rinnegan and juubi's chakra happening but how will sasuke defeat madara. . he'll need atleast rinnegan PS wont be enough coz Madara has both rinnegan and PS and other OP stuff . .clearly he cant unlock rinnegan faster than naruto because he's not related to sage. . and we know how long it took for madara himself to awaken rinnegan
