I only lust over my boyfriend, Anthony.

I don't agree that envy cannot be overpassed. It depends on what type of person you are and on your will.I guess all the of sins are actually good for you but with consequences in the long run. Remember envy means something very different to what it did back when the 7 sins were created. After all, Envy IS ugly, but it's inherintly human and that's so weird to me that this is something that comes naturally to me and literally cannot be fought. You can stop greed, wrath and gluttony with a lot of self control but no amount of assurance really gets rid of jealousy.
Aw man I LOVED Envy the Homonculi. Best character in the whole thing along with Greedling & Hohenheim. Actually i've just noticed I have a trend for sassy, b*tchy characters who are filled with jealousy. (Kabuto Yakushi, Envy, Loki, Scar from Lion King) that says a LOT about my psyche huh? And oh man, that DEATH. That whole episode is art. The way Envy just keeps on pushing Mustang wayyy too far to the extent of even impersonating Hughe's wife had me on the edge of my seat. And then Mustang went batsh*t insane. The sad thing is, I really feel like in Envy's last moments I was able to somehow relate to him, and that really hurt to be honest. The fact that this resentfulness and condescending attitude was actually forced and all he really was in the end was jealous of Elric and his friends- and he couldn't accept that. Beautiful.
You still are.. what are you talking about?I'm lazy when I'm not being depended on... But overall, it's probably pride as well. Envy and greed to a lesser degree.
Try to control dat ego, though. Admitting faults and so on... but I was real douche once upon a time.
Who are you?I know everybody gonna vote pride for me...
But I say....Pride.
I completely agree with all of this. And to be honest, the main reason i dislike Envy is simply because he was a well done villain. I just cannot bring myself to like villains that are done well from start to finish. So ill admit he is a great character but there's just something in me that won't allow me to say he's a favorite of mine. Greedling is a favorite of mine as well but i consider him an antihero rather than a villain.I guess all the of sins are actually good for you but with consequences in the long run. My case of Jealousy could only be stopped if I was literally the perfect image of a man. And even then i'd probably wish to be more like those beneath me. I want to be everything and anything, I want to do every single thing at once. It's a hard thing to explain and it doesn't hurt anyone but me- it's ugly but I don't see how it is a sin, I have good intentions.I don't agree that envy cannot be overpassed. Yeah I just dont see envy, pride, sloth, gluttony, greed, and wrath being a big problem for myself.Seriously, fair enough.
Well done for the honesty.
I know it's ironic but, i'm honestly jealous.Yeah I just dont see envy, pride, sloth, gluttony, greed, and wrath being a big problem for myself.
I dont envy anyone with more wealth than I do because im sure that their not satisfied with all their wealth.
Well im sure if I had unlimited wealth that I would be dissatissfied with life because I would already have everything in life and what good would that do me. You dont have to be jealous of ppl that have wealth because I assure you that their lives are still unfulfilled.I know it's ironic but, i'm honestly jealous.
Nice viewpoint, but there's more to it than that for me i'm afraid. Even if I know other people are unsatisfied that won't stop me. I'll want aspects of peoples lives.Well im sure if I had unlimited wealth that I would be dissatissfied with life because I would already have everything in life and what good would that do me. Basically pride was the first sin to destroy the calm of eternity. In the bible stories or whatever, it was pride that sent Lucifer from heaven and it was pride that made Eve eat the apple. "Pride is the first sin to enter a man’s heart and the last to leave. No sin is more offensive to God than the sin of pride." So there's a bit of context.Sloth. I'm a lazy person. Pride too,who knew that was a sin,and why would pride be a sin? Go figure.
I completely understand sometimes well have to scratch that itch just to get it over with.Nice viewpoint, but there's more to it than that for me i'm afraid. Even if I know other people are unsatisfied that won't stop me. I'll want aspects of peoples lives.
But what is a person without pride? Basically a carpet. I get all of this though, thanks!Basically pride was the first sin to destroy the calm of eternity. Pride is also the root sin from which all the others sins derive from.
I guess so, but the idea is that Pride is when an individual in theory starts to get cocky of themselves and begins to disrupt the peace. But what is a person without pride? Basically a carpet. I get all of this though,thanks!![]()
