Firstly with Naruto and Sasuke we're going to compare their personality.

For me Naruto can act immature and can considered to be disrespectful to others. (I.e the 2nd Hokage unimpressed by Naruto's addressing him as old man. Saying this however Naruto does have a friendly personality and easy to get on well with, just look at how many friends he has. He is also a very determined character and pretty much effects everyone around him.

Sasuke on the other hand is a mature type of person and have does show respect to higher ups. He is already near man hood (his character) Addressing the Hokage's as Hokage's. The only problems with him are that he isn't very friendly and seems a cold, strict type of person. He however does take things seriously.

When I compare both, when I think about it. Between Sasuke and Naruto in the present, I would have to go with Sasuke, mainly because he acts like an adult and I feel he would want to make sure no fights ever happened, (maybe more like a dictator)

Naruto would be but considered young and naive as a hokage. Probably wouldn't enjoy paper work and hate working. He would give a lot of encouragement to the hidden village of the leaf however and it would be hard for people to hate him.

If Naruto and Sasuke were older I'd say Hokage title would be Naruto's in the bag. But currently he isn't mature enough.

Noone cares. Shikamaru would be the best Hokage of them all, and Naruto is going to be one :win:

$20 says they'll be duo-kage...

Duo Hokage sounds like a cop-out.

Honestly, Hokage is officially a shit title. I don't even care for it...

Sasuke to become kage of his own village, and Nardo as the super kage of all the villages. Done.

You know it's kinda funny I was thinking this the other day. Sasuke becoming a Hokage of the sound Village (if they even exist now)

Noone cares. Shikamaru would be the best Hokage of them all, and Naruto is going to be one :win:

Shikamaru is very intelligent and pretty mature easily. But. When it comes to a crisis like the Pein arc. I don't think Shikamaru would be strong enough as a Hokage.

This series has them. Why not the big one to break all others?

Naruto as Hokage with Sasuke as adviser. Naruto is way too much yang. He would be the failure of the Third all over again, but yang exists to be balanced by yin. Sasuke is completely yin. Him becoming Hokage would be comparable to Hokage Danzo, and that would be a disaster.

Naruto and Sasuke preferctly compliment each other, that's why they need to be a team, but Naruto needs to be the Hokage for three reasons. First, he has never wavered in his loyalty to village (though they deserve Naruto's wrath for their mistreatment of him.) Second, it's Naruto dream to be Hokage. Third, Sasuke needs character development, and the perfect development for him would be accepting Naruto as Hokage and being content with it, unlike Madara and Danzo.

being the perfect yin and yang team, the two would be awesome as Hokage and adviser if they work together. I've written on this before: together, they should make the perfect team, able to come to balanced decisions. If a certain weakness in Naruto prevents him from being the best Hokage, Sasuke advises him of that and vice versa. Problem solved. Naruto runs off to save people but Sasuke stops him and reminds that he is Hokage and must stay with the village. Sasuke gives "burn them all" advice, and Naruto says no and argues against it. Naruto wants to win a conflict by using talk no jutsu on everybody and their mother. Sasuke rolls his eyes, says that is unrealistic and can never happen. Each weakness in one is a strength in the other. In conclusion, Naruto should become Hokage with Sasuke as an adviser. They are opposites, and that makes them the perfect team.

What about dem Duo-Kages? Sasuke wouldn't like the feeling of being just an advisor. He'll feel inferior to Naruto to me.

This is a valid critique, but I think it's better for Sasuke to overcome his inferiority complex then to have it appeased again. I really want Sasuke to have more development.

Also, I just don't like that idea of dual leader system. there isn't any precedent for dual Kage, so I don't think it could happen. We've never even seen a clan ruled via a dual ruler system. Moreover, it seems to be very, very inefficient. Naruto and Sasuke might be able to pull it off but they are no other leaders capable the level of teamwork necessary to make that system work. You need someone with the final power to make a decision, or the inefficiency is disastrous. Early Roman Republic is hilarious with this kind of problem. They had two consuls that had to work together to make decisions. In times of war, one consul ruled for a day, and the other consul ruled the next day, and so on and so on. So hilariously inefficient if they couldn't agree on tactics!

Sasuke doesn't respect the higher ups, he often refers to characters without honorifics. For instance he just calls Kakashi without adding Sensei to the end, that is considered extremely rude. He does this to all the characters.

I agree Sasuke needs more development and maturity about his egocenterism, although throughout the series he has been shown of his feelings of bitterness between his stance on power with Naruto, even a few chapters ago it was shown which is good that he still has the "drive" but there's more to him.

Only reason I feel that the "Duokage" system might be an effect is the whole idealogy of "Not doing things by yourself" melded into Naruto's character now. Even though he would have an advisor and such he would still basically be himself in the situation. Heck maybe not even a single ruler at all (but that'd be pushing it a bit.) Nobody can do things alone, and Naruto and Sasuke are the perfect thing and duo to make the drive hit home. They're the both sides of the world and basically ideals of the Verse. A good way to fit both idealogies of Team and Views would be to have them lead the world with both of their morales and views together. They're Yin/Yang characteristics would be perfect for their duoism in itself.

This is exactly what I have been saying about the Dual Hokage idea, there needs to be a guy at the top of the chain of command, two people would end up argueing and then they would get nowhere.

I think that he is also right about how Naruto will end up as Hokage with Sasuke as advisor.
