It is not that he is holding back on purpose, haven't got an opportunity to show his powers....I think his statement is just to motivate Naruto..

This chapter dosen't change the fact that Naruto is stronger than Sasuke...Sasuke needs another powerup after PS(haven't shown Yet) to match Naruto...

He's showing off. Even if he shows some feats or Says "I'm getting started now" Doesn't mean that He'll END UP AHEAD OF NARUTO without any acceptable feats.
The same could have said in case of Naruto. If Sasuke was fighting from the start and then Naruto comes and do something unusual then the thread title would be talking about Naruto.

I think everyone is forgetting Naruto gave him chakra which is more robust than last time. Kakashi could Kamui a tailed beast after recieving NARUTO/KURAMA chakra buff so it's not hard to believe sasuke could do this with a buffed sasuno.

If Sasuke was really holding back 'even if he got enough power without Kurama's Cloak' then this would only confirm that Sasuke is a coward that was not going to protect what he decided to protect from a start, someone that would betray his own decision.

b) Wasn holding back because of fear

By fighting, he's able to create new things and use them.

Naruto got some power ups during these battles as well. Bijuudama, BM, BSM, a bunch of different types of rasengan and a bunch of other things were power ups he gained while fighting.

He hasn't really spent much time fighting. He used Amaterasu once or twice and Susano'o but apart from that he's mainly been watching from the cheapseats. We've been given no indication that Sasuke received any sort of power up geezus you people are stupid. Some proof is that, but you know the full powered Susano'o to measure your statement? If you don't know, then that is not a proof but a possibility only.

i would say c along with the opposit of b. and c is bad too you shouldnt have included that as a good reason for him holding back. he was analyzing naruto more than anything else. and while analyzing naruto he likely had fellings of both fear and envy. he has nothing but bad reasons for holding back. not only that but when naruto was caught by the tree sasuke was the one person who just stood there and watched.

I'm not saying gaining things during battles is a bad thing, actually. Naruto creating new things during fights shows he knows what he's doing.
Naruto never did the Bijuudama during training, he simply completed in a fight.
He can make variations of the Rasengan during battles because he really mastered the rasengan. He could probably make new variations at any given time... Just like Sasuke and Chidori.

Remember that Sasuke isn't the main character, so we don't get to see him training. He does train. Probably a lot.
Probably even more than Naruto, since Sasuke had more time.
Naruto kept doing missions and socializing. (Not saying it's a bad thing...)
Sasuke trained and fought. Really, what else? After all, he was the one that was seeking power. Naruto, on the other hand, refused to use the power given to him. Remember when he said he wouldn't use Kurama's chakra?

He probably has more Susan'o under he Susan'o... Thats pretty much as more powered up as Saucegay is gonna get, Naruto gets stronger OP Kyubi Chakra, Sasuke gets more OP Susano Powers. Madara eat your heart out.
