Did the whole Naruto sequence seem corny to anyone?

Don't get me wrong I liked the chapter, it was pretty cool but that flashback sequence with Naruto reaching out the alliance just seemed corny to me. When I read back over the part about the alliance understanding Naruto's feelings I can't help but cringe a little. The alliance already knows how Naruto feels otherwise they wouldn't all be following him in the first place. The whole 'reaching out' concept seems overdone to me as I already saw that with Minato and his development has been highlighted at several times. If Shikamaru really is dead then I would have at least shown the reactions of Choji and Ino.

It felt like that at first,but when i reread it again,i though it was really well done.There was no need for a long ass corny speech(we all know Kishi cant write proper speeches in part2),these flashbacks did the work without being annoying.

I don't find speeches unnecassary if they are indeed leading to something new; but we all know the idealogies and thoughts represented in this chapter since they have mentioned several times before...

Well, the usual amount is 17 and with the extra added pages Kishi had to extend the chapter with unnecessary panels...

The speeches themselves are fine as you said. i agree. I also agreed that a speech and flashback every chapter is also redundant and just an excuse to extend the manag longer than it needs to be. I'd rather have 12 chapters of actual progression in this war then 40 chapters of flashbacks and feelings conveyed just to extend the life of the manga. It's getting rather dull. End this fight with Obito and the war already and get to the main arc/event: Naruto VS Sasuke!

OT: the only thing I didn't find too great was that somehow out of everyone hos heart somehow hijacked a communication network. I mean I guess if his thoughts were flowing it would make sense, but the heart and brain have different functions
