All bad examples. Tsunade? Really show me a fight where she is winning by using her brains by herself. It is a difference in fighting smart and book smart. For example Sakura is book smart but compared to Neji she is not as talented in fighting smart. Databook or not. Tsuande is smart by leading a village and doing medicine. Sakura vs Sasori is a bad example because the one who was mostly thinking on their feet from their "team" was Chiyo contemplating Sasori next move.
The only good example you have is Shikamaru. While on the other hand Deidara is shown fully thinking on his feet and for himself.


First of all Deidara out thought Gaara. Not saying the village did not count. But he used that as a factor in winning.
But now compared those Odds. Gaara had the power of all that sand, a tail beast, and some warriors around him. He still lost. He went unconscious maybe if he was more powerful he would of ask his tail beast to use his powers to last longer.

He cannot make all the techniques he knows, some of them are too destructive to be made above the people he need too protect, Gaara was in clear disadvantage, a blind monkey would see that. The two reasons you said doesn't counter this. This burden clearly unfocused him, if they are fighting with no restrictions Deidara has no chance...

4) You missed the how the Sai and Kankuro's tactic solo Deidara. Sasori has his reasons, he didn't have his puppets with him, but Deidara? LAME.

where there did she ever hit herself with her own jutsu, Kabuto hit her with a chakra scalpel and she healed herself at the end...
