Take a look at these two panels. The thing coming out of his Hand looks like chakra control rods/his black will thing. He also said he will use Hashirama's hermit power, i.e Sage Mode, to take control of the Shinju. As we know, only Senjutsu can hurt Obito, so does he intend to use Hashirama as one of the 6 Paths, or just take him over like he tried with Obito.

If he just takes over Hashirama, I can't see that being enough to stop Obito. It's possible that Madara will try to use Hashirama as a one of his Six Paths.

It could either be Deva Path(the Strongest) or Preta Path, to absorb Obito's chakra.

But this begs the question, will Madara also go after Naruto, because of his Sage Mode?

Hashirama is not a fodder who could be controlled whenever wanted.......im sure there is more to it that meets the eye....!!!

That would be interesting if Hashirama becomes one of the Paths of Madara, its the only way they can work together at this point.

and although Obito as a Jinch still is OP, Hashi clearly was such a problem that Madara needed to intervene

I think he plans on using him as a Path, but not like Nagato. He'll be like the revived Jinchuuriki. If I had to guess, I'd say Madara is planning to use Hashirama's Senjutsu-enhanced Mokuton to subdue Obito and take control of the Shinju.

Are you saying Hashi to be the Jinchuuriki and Madara pulling the strings? wouldnt that be a huge risk if Hashi breaks free?

We'll just have to wait till next week.....But I really got the feeling that the rod will somehow suck or whatever on Hashi until Madara gets his Sage Mode...they will have a spar and Madara stomps Hashi....maybe :hyper::NO:

No. I think Obito will still be the Jinchuuriki, but Madara will use Hashirama as a medium to subdue him and gain control of the Shinju. We know that even a 'Perfect' Jinchuuriki can be controlled. Yagura proved that. And as it is, there is no way for Madara to 'switch' with Obito in the sense of becoming a Jinchuuriki. He has no way to revive himself.

Interesting, i like where that theory leads, its plausible
