Must Sasuke get a power-up to reach SBM Naruto?

I ask this cause we haven't seen Sasuke's full power of EMS. So what do you think guys? Does he have to get a huge power-up to be on par with sage bijuu mode Naruto?

Sometimes kishi is stupid but sometmes its not, sp im not sure, but im sure even all those power ups that naruto did he still match to sasuke

I honestly think that the only reason that Sasuke was really able to defeat Naruto originally at the Valley of the End was because Naruto naively thought that he could convince Sasuke to return to the village. Imagine if Naruto had summoned Gamabunta and used his cloak.

Even after the time-skip, Naruto could have probably matched well against Sasuke. There meeting in Orochimaru's lair was probably the only time that Naruto wasn't stronger than Sasuke (besides at the ninja academy). Since then, Naruto has advanced significantly, while Sasuke hasn't really developed any further (besides his EMS). Even his EMS abilities are just weaker versions of Itachi's.

the only power up I can think of for sasuke is perfect susanoo, it's tailed beast level and with amatarsu it should be equal to Naruto's KSM.

All we know so far is that EMS Sausage is pretty much MS Sausage, he can just spam his techniques more with less chakra drainage and no side effects.

-Faster.
-Stronger.
-Immune to genjutsu.
-And most definitely smarter.

Sasuke can't see him anywhere at his level right now.

BM? No. He has surpassed KCM, sure, but not by much. BM is practically demi-god. Until he shows something mildly threatening from his EMS, BM is still > EMS Sasuke.

But he's extremely capable of Clone blitzing him, and overpowering him in a powerstruggle.

If they were to clash TBB's and Chidori, Sasuke would be history.

Naruto has the ability to use SCJ an activate them in BM. Sasuke is not on BM Naruto's level
