I mean yeah, I can understand you guys, Dragonball is over for a very big ass long time, and it's still so famous and popular and is being loved around the World. Nearly every person knows about it. They still make Games about it and they're always invent new stuff for it. New Movies, Card Games, Ovas, little paged Mangas (Specials). Just because it's DBZ > Your Favourite (unknown, not so famous) Manga/Anime, you don't have to bash the Series and the Fans of it.

It's a good anime, I agree, and who was bashing anyway? Lel....it was the first anime I've seen and dbz was what made me get into anime anyway, So obviously I can't HATE it

The majority of anime lovers at least like it and nearly everyone knows about it. I think it's great that even after DBZ has been over for such a long time, it still makes money off of its merchandise. It's just a classic and other mangas get inspired from DBZ. Just goes to show how awesome and inspirational DBZ was.

Not everyone likes it though, I've seen a couple of people on NB who practically despise the series.

It's a really good series but if it's in your top 10, I wouldn't be surprised if your top 10 is composed of naruto, bleach, SAO, SNK, and Soul Eater either.

You've seen under 30 anime if dbz is anywhere around your top 20.

And no one cares about mainstream/underground, it's like music, just look at/listen to what sounds good to you and that's it. Quit being butthurt, no one cares what you think just because you grew up in a middle class suburbs and at 10 you watched DBZ all day like a normal kid in that type of environment.

DBZ was released in 1989, and probably one of the oldest manga/animes, you can clearly see that Kishi, Oda, Kubo are inspired by DBZ, and for me it is the first anime that I came across...There is absolutely no way I will hate it...=D=D

DBZ should comes under d category of Legends.
it was d first crazy earth destroying powerup I saw in an anime/cartoon.
Vegeta badassness was also epic.
Tite,Oda,Kubo and many others were inspired by DBZ.
Overall everyone would agree that it was d thing that made them 2 read manga.:heh:

Your ignorance is strong kid.Dragonball IS still very much alive.New games are guaranteed in the near future (as usual, since the original Budokai came out,games have been constant).

Battle of the Gods is NOT a one shot thing, sequels are also coming sooner or later,without wanting to spoil much what happens at the end of the latest movie was done with a clear intent to expand upon it.Meaning it is very very safe to say Akira Toriya WANTS to continue making DB.

aren't you bashing other series by saying dbz>your favorite series? the only argument people have to say dbz is better is because it influenced many and because of nostalgia. i agree with dragon ball/z being one of the greatest manga because it influenced many authors but to say it is better than other series no questions asked is just fanboyism. if you want dbz to be your all time favorite fine whatever but for me its not, dragon ball is in my top 5 but z is crap compared to db just my opinion.
