The following thread is about the stare Naruto & Sasuke shared and the meaning behind it.
its really about Sasuke's motives
judging from these panels I kinda conclude :sasuke:
Sasuke told Jugo to wait until things settled down to act.
Naruto notices Sasuke standing back safely , out of harms way.
Sasuke is (not happy) puzzled that Sarutobi managed to survive and save Naruto.
Naruto realizes Sasuke didn't try to HELP anyone (Naruto) from dying . (having the chakra drained)
Naruto is extremely angry about it towards Sasuke. Also didn't try to help Sakura. u_u
Naruto is upset that Sasuke was gonna let him die.
I think Sasuke kinda wanted Naruto to be weakened or *die*
here its pointed out that Sasuke has a hidden agenda
even Zetsu (impersonating as Jugo) doesn't know what it is. xD
Oro says the Sanin NEVER could agree on something since the beginning
here Naruto goes giving out orders to Sasuke & he refuses
Sasuke wants to destroy ALL BIJUU
Sakura says Sasuke came back for them (her and Naruto & Konoha) Sai says its true
,but did he come to save or destroy ? .-.
Sasuke acknowledges Naruto's power/chakra are greater than he expected.
He knows it wont be easy to deal with Naruto as an opponent, in fact Naruto could kill Sasuke.
If someone else (like a tree for instance) decides to kill Naruto , he wont mind.
