There must be some different rules for the juubi jinchuriki because in chapter 645 the juubi oozed out of obito's back but he's still alive.

I know that was his intention but how does that work???

Is he still attached to it somehow or what, would love to hear some thoughts on this.

Yeh thats the only logical reasoning to this but the only thing is when naruto is in kyuubi chakra mode you can actually see the link between them, there doesnt seem to be one with obito

I guess it just can't be seen, but it's still there. It's just like the guy above said, it's like the way menma was using his bijuu mode. Maybe there is no need to be a physical connection between obito and the body of the manifested juubi, I guess, or maybe we just can't see the conection because it wasn't shown.

We'll have to wait and see, i dont believe it atm but im sure there is some sort of explanation for it

I think it's because he used the bijuu transformation, like Gaara, Bee, and the other 7 Jin that don't turn yellow in BM use

I think he did something like menma, and materialised the juubi without it leaving his body or transforming into it.
