What if...

The fruit was shared among Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura?

Whoever eats it will obviously become insanely overpowered, and I've been thinking that each person from team 7 (Excluding Kakashi, Yamato, and Sai) has good reason to eat the fruit.

Naruto: Believes he can bring world peace through means of changing people's hearts, I highly doubt Naruto would use his new found power to use on the God Tree, he'd actually be the last person to harm the tree on a serious level (it contains the Biju's).

Sasuke: Jealous of Naruto, wanting to bring about a new world order and a new way of living with his own ideals. He currently knows that Naruto would be in the way of achieving his goal, and he'll need power.

Sakura: Kishimoto looks at Sakura as the main heroine (lol), if he wants us to even think about us dreaming about Sakura being on Naruto and Sasuke's level, she'll need some sort of power-up. I personally don't see any power-up for Sakura coming at this point besides more super human strength (something to do with her seal, I presume). If Sakura gets the the fruit it'll be of Kishimoto's accord, not her character's accord.

Sakura was healing all of the alliance and Naruto's cloak was becoming an annoyance, it was the most logical thing to do in my opinion.

The only kind of power-up she can receive is a random power-up, this is a perfect opportunity for Kishi to actually make her relevant. (Even though it'll piss off a lot of his readers)
