"mega pokemon", the ultra powerful fairy pokemon. This is why I don't play pokemon game since diamond and pearl. They are getting ridiculous and they pokemon designs are terrible also. I think they are running out of ideas over there. How can they give steel type a new weakness and then take away its resistance. How the hell is that balanced.

I'm not gen one fangirl, all gens have Pros and Cons and from my personal point of view, Gen 6 has way more cons after watching the video in the OP.

The lack of originality comment was pointed more toward Nintendo not Gen 6.

It's fine. Gen 1 wasn't even as great as people make it out to be.

I play pokemon more competitively than casually and all the new changes to competitive play aren't appealing at all.

I know all Gens have changes, but none were on a scale this large.
And I wouldn't mind the changes if the Gen itself had some other perks, which it does.

Unfortunately for me, I don't care for the mega evolutions or the game being in 3D.

I shouldn't have said the Gen will suck, I should have said it's definitely not my type of Gen.
