imo manga feats should be more relevant in vs debates than the databook
mostly because the databook is relative and doesn't work the way fanboys want it to...
if a chuunin has 4 at stamina it doesn't mean he can outlast a kage who has 3

the best example is Neji
some databook wankers seriously believe he has the same speed as Kakashi because the databook says so therefore he can run circles around the likes of Tsunade

another example
Kakashi has higher speed and taijutsu than Kakuzu... then why did Kakuzu shit on him in a taijutsu battle?

and another one
after this chapter Hiruzen is clearly faster than early part2 Sakura yet they have the same speed (how does it make sense?)

as I said, the databook should be ignored in the vs section because it's relative and doesn't work the way fanboys want it to...
they should base their arguments on manga feats

Well yes, DBs are only used to measure a person's individual skills. It was never meant to to compare with others. As the maximum stat is 40 and the increment is 0.5

I think this will be the only time i agree with you. However, Kishspecifically defines what speed/stamina/etc intels. There are levels to this and this is what some may not understand.

Ex)
Speed aaccording to users is pure foot speed and some even consider.

Kish considers swiftness and reflexs, which is why Minato isn't the only shinobi w/ 5/5.

Taijutsu isn't as straightforward as it seems neither.

The Databook compensates for anything the manga didn't specify. Of course, the Databook does contain bullshit, just as the manga contains retcons, but the DB can be used as a secondary source of Canon.
