Now as we know Hagoromo Ootsuki wasn't a Uzumaki . Now we can truly believe that Naruto isn't the sage's reincarnation but "the one who will lead them on the right path"-- As predicted by SO6P

The necklace that the Sage wore might be a reference to the Yasakani Jewel; a legendary magatama necklace that is part of the Japanese Imperial Regalia, together with the Kusanagi Sword and the Yata Mirror.

P.S - I was ( I don't know why ) disappointed that the sage had a mother I know its natural that he had to have one but the concept of not knowing that intrigued me I thought that his mother would be the best mother etc ...............

Nothing suggests that naruto isn't the reincarnation of SO6P . .just because sage wasn't born in uzumaki doesn't mean naruto is not the reincarnation at all. . manga has already provided enough proofs to believe it . .ex: Juubi recognising rikudou and tailed beasts chakra inside naruto, tailed beasts agreed to each other that naruto is the reincarnation of SO6P etc. .
Many theories were made on sage being uzumaki . .they made such theories because the main character belongs to the uzumaki clan . .which i dont really think plausible. .nonetheless naruto is the reincarnation of SO6P and he will be the one in the end to lead the world and tailed beasts towards peace

If the First was a direct descendant but bares a different name... doesn't mean Naru is out on this, not to mention why is it based on exact lineage, I don't remember it being stated (which doesn't mean it hasn't). Jiyara filled the role of setting things along the right path, but not being the six paths. I think a simple name being dropped isn't enough to do anything, and as spacey said, Dad could have been.

So you're saying, that if in my past life my last name was say, Smith, I can't reincarnate into another family with another surname? Do you even know what the word reincarnation means? -.-

whats being an uzumaki got to do with being the sages reincarnation also naruto has lineage that dates back to the sage as he is half uzumaki who are related to the senju who are related to the sage of six paths

The Uzumaki are descended from the Younger Son just like the Senju, it's just that simple, it was stated in the manga 100's of chapters ago.
