The war is currently ongoing and so far we have seen some astonishing feats. So tell me, from the beginning of the war till this point, which character did you gain the most admiration/respect for during this phase?
For me it was Onoki. He finally redeemed himself after Gaara challenged his self-esteem and even assisted Gaara in sealing the Second Mizukage by fighting alongside & providing essential information to him about the Jouki Boi. More importantly, Onoki continually spoke words of enlightenment that gave a morale boost to everyone despite the tough situations they were facing. For example, when Madara summoned the meteor he told the fodders of the SAF to not give up unless everything has been done to resolve or limit the issue. Onoki did everything he can to stop that meteor and as a result, his determination has turned into success (ignoring the coming of the second meteor). It just highlights the character transformation he has undertaken, from being an old stubborn man to a noble, wise and respected Tsuchikage. There were other examples too when you would see such words or acts of wisdom, but I'm not going to list them all.
Other mentions include Tobirama who I started to like a lot after seeing how bad*** he actually is. Kabuto, Gai and Kakashi is right up there too but what about the main protagonist? Even though Naruto contributed tremendously in this war, my admiration for him hasn't changed that much (relative to other characters) because he is my favourite character and I always expected a lot from him.
