[Discussion] The last scene of One Piece.

What would you love to see as the last scene of One Piece? For me there are only these possibilities which I would like.

1. The execution of the late Pirate king Monkey D Luffy. The last thing we see is Luffy being impaled with a smile on his face.

2. Brook and Chopper (like Crocus) with Laboon at reverse mountain ; playing Binks Sake. Brook always was a good story teller.

3. Zoro (like Rayleigh) is with a young group of Pirates whom are extremely similar to the Roger and Straw Hat pirates. The whole series would be Zoro re-telling his adventures.

4. Another pirate Rookie is seen fighting some fat ***** with a club in the East Blue.

5. Sanji having a *** reminiscing ; at the Baratie.

6. The crew landing on their respective islands. Luffy is captive. Zoro will return to his home town , Usopp will return to his. Nami will be welcomed to Cocoyashi with a party , Chopper will be back in Drum kingdom (to find lots of change ), Robin is at where Ohara once was , she is standing in a boat looking at the ruins , Franky bumps into a sailing Water 7 The new worlds biggest ship, Brooke is seen with Laboon.

7. Half way to a fight between Luffy and Coby (after the war WB foreshadowed)

In my opinion it is best suited to be #2

Any ideas of your own? What do you think would suit a great ending to a great series , (i'd keep it low key ; like a farewell to someone)

Luffy seemingly died at the end of the final battle due to illness....some time has passed....and Luffy survived and was cured by Chopper. The crew is having a party at Luffy's home town with all the allies they made along the way, to celebrate Luffy's new kid with Nami.

I would want it to :

Luffy still as a Pirate King visiting all his allies.
Zoro and the rest are same as your ideas, except another PK crew younings.

1. Luffy becomes PK and after everything is set and done they celebrate on the thousand sunny (a bigger model maybe). The series ends with a Kanpai between the Straw Hats, Red-Hair pirates and Rayleigh.

2. We see Zoro walking towards Luffy's grave (2 years after Luffy's death). Zoro tells him (the tombstone) about what has happened while Luffy's been gone. Zoro is about to walk away but then comes back and says "Ohh yeah, you forgot this captain" and puts the Straw Hat on Luffy's grave. Reuniting the two.

3. Smoker is telling a little kid a story about how the pirate king (Luffy) lived his life. Then after the story is set and done we see them in loguetown in front of a huge statue of Luffy and the straw-hats. The kid says "don't you think that man in the middle kind of looks like the uncle who's wanted poster you have in your wall?" Then we see a flashback of a man who's face isn't revealed but he walks into the marine HQ and leaves a child into a room. Then Smoker shows up and says "what do you want now?" implying that he knows who the man is. Then the mysterious man walks away and says "make him into a fine marine" then he bursts out laughing revealing a Straw-Hat on his back and leaves. Then we're back in the present and Smoker says "Yeah, he kind of does look like him".

Implying that the child was Luffy's son.


These are just something off the top of my head. I don't really think it's gonna end like this. The way i see it ending is a Kanpai between SH's and the Red-Hairs.

Pretty good ideas. However I think Rayleigh and Shanks will be killed before they can see Luffy achieve his dream.

I came up with another one:

A young boy wondering around his home village overhears a story of the late Pirate King Luffy ; Some off screen feats are mentioned e.g. fighting multiple vice admirals at once etc. The Kid is interested. He has black hair , and a VERY big smile. and starts talking to the men in the conversation about how great he was etc and how he wants to be the king of the pirates : He then shouts with pride (THE FINAL LINE OF THE SERIES): Just you wait! I'll prove you all wrong! I'm gonna be king! Remember my name!!!! "He says his name ; all we hear is D." and all the mens faces are shocked.

OR

A certain Pink Haired retired man talks to his "grand son" (like ace was Garps grandson) about how he is going to make him a great marine , the child replies saying he will be pirate king , Coby picks him up by his clothing and takes him into a forest.

Another one is that they finish with a fight between Bartolomeo (whom by this point would have not been seen for years and presumed dead) fighting a marine admiral. This would be pretty unique and unexpected!!

Or the for a last scene possibly something like a kid being trained by Smoker...and them arguing over whether or not he's going to become a pirate or marine and finally for the last scene we see the kids face with a large smile on his face (The kid is Luffy's)

As soon as Luffy dies against Coby

After the "Promised War" when the marines are lead by a righteous Aokiji, the SH's are chilling in some island when Coby, Helmeppo and a fleet of (around) 100 warships comes to capture them. Luffy fights Coby, using the entire island as their battlefield, whereas Zoro fights Helmeppo using the 100 or so warships as their battlefield.

The fight goes for a few days and Coby deals Luffy a final blow, and Luffy thinks back to how he achieved his dream and how his true rival achieved his (Coby always wanted to be stronger than Luffy), thus thinking all, Luffy dies a D.'s death.

Zoro realizng what happened, tells Helmeppo that he came far enough; he went to a certain stance, solemnly said "Demon Slash", and sent Helmeppo flying all the way back to marine HQ.

and Zoro sends Helmeppo "blasting off"

Zoro starts as a regular human, but a supreme being, called the Master of the Omniverse, challenges mankind to come up with a champion to best him and prove the Earth's worth; otherwise, it would be destroyed within the next 10 years. Zoro, with no memory of his past life, becomes a drunk and coasts through day to day life until arriving at a town near a Marine base ruled with an iron axe fist.

Then One Piece begins.

sees the pain in Zoro's heart and decides to give him his old memory back, then eventually, Zoro ascends to the Master's realm and so, the Master gives him his title and dies, and thusly Zoro becomes the Master of the Omniverse who decides to watch his "mortal" life.

Most of the ideas on this thread are just repeating history, and thats kind of sh1t, why can't we have something new?

I want to see Luffy have a kid with Hancock, and the Straw Hats basically the rulers of the ocean.

Probably the best idea on this thread, but I dont think the Strawhat will be rulers of the ocean, since they dont want to rule anything.

Ahh thats right, my bad.

Whatever happens, Luffy and the strawhats will be the top of the generation, hopefully Oda can surprise us with something nice, not recycled situations.
