Just wanted to confirm or not, did Tobirama use FTG without a seal?

I feel as if he can port short distances without seals and can port to longer distances without seals but with a build-up of chakra or something:

He didn't have a seal on the battlefield and yet he was considering teleporting there.

If not this, then can someone explain all this?

I think that was minato's FTG... He's the only one who had a kunai there. Notice it's the exact spot he FTG'd them before...

The thing he said before about out of chakra, I think he meant his FTG seal on naruto was gone or something like that, so he couldn't hirashin naruto specifically... I think all Tobirama really did was touch hiruzen to connect him to minato so they could get out of there.

100% sure Tobirama was the one who used FTG. A seal can't randomly disappear on someone and the fact that Tobirama was in the middle of the group and the one who announced 'All-right! We're getting out of here.' Also, no kunai is shown there.

I think this is why Tobirama didn't incorporate kunai into his FTG, I mean, the dude's a genius and I'm sure he would have considered something like that if he couldn't port without seals.

Shinju Was absorbing all chakra. It absorbed naruto's Kyuubi Chakra, His own Chakra, and his Sage chakra. It's far fetched to assume it also absorbed a chakra based seal ? A seal that juubito was able to get rid of?

I think tobirama was in the middle because minato had 1 arm. Either way, tobirama would have to touch hiruzen for minato to get the job done. If minato touched hiruzen, then tobirama wouldhave to touch hiruzen and hiruzen would be in the center. That doesn't mean Hiruzen performed the jutsu. Furthermore, Tobirama shouting let's go hints more to the fact that minato was the one porting because tobirama gave a heads up. If tobirama was doing the hirashin, He could've simply 'Touch and Go' like he usually did.

As to the Kunai bit. to that position on the rock where sasuke was standing, while the kunai lay far away near Kiba. Infact, it's already been established that minato can teleport a radius around the kunai, yet it's hard to believe that he can get back to that spot, which he already teleported to before?

I hardly doubt tobirama could ever port without seals... Minato said FTG seals never disappear, and that's probably what tobirama was going to use when Hashirama told him to 'prepare hirashin' - A pre-existing Seal. The mere fact that Minato can't port without seals (he bettered tobirama's FTG) and kakashi stated that it was unbelieve that obito could port without seals leads us to believe that it was minato doing that teleporting at that time... After all, Throughout this battle, minato's been the one using FTG for defence, while tobirama used it for the offence.

Holy balls, I'm not sure how but you've put up a good argument.

Right, it's stated nowhere that Minato's FTG > Tobirama's.

Also, that link's broken but I'm guessing you're referring to the part the Hokage got to the stone monuments? Yeah, can't remember who but someone proved they had all jumped and Minato/Tobirama didn't use FTG. Something to do with dust and how some lines indicated they had moved and motion was involved.

As I said, Tobirama has to literally prepare to port to longer distances whereas Obito doesn't.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'pre-existing seal'.

I can't put up a good argument right now because it's almost 11pm here and I'm tired :(
