[Discussion] Has anyone considered Orochimaru's plot in all of this?

First thing i thought of when I heard the fruit story was Oro anyone else thinking the same thing as me? Orochimaru is smart as hell and more then likely has uncovered at least a fragment of that story so i'm thinking he's got some sort of knowledge about what's about to go down and he's going to go for the fruit to become the end-all mega ninja he's dreamed of anyone else on my level or got any other idea?
